‘94 2nd Gen Camping Setup (SoCal area)

Hey everyone, I’m tearing off the band-aid and letting go of my 1994 SR5 3VZE 4x4 5spd project. I have worked on this truck for the past couple months but unfortunately need to part ways with it. I’m reaching out to the community to gauge interest and see if anyone here is looking for a solid base project or overland rig.

Located in Huntington Beach / SoCal area. 238k miles on the chassis, but it sits on a fresh motor build and a spotless engine bay.

Fresh remanufactured 3VZE long block from Engine Monster. Built right with ARP head studs and a fresh OEM head gasket. Rebuilt with a fresh gasket kit, new injectors, new plugs, new vacuum lines, and a variety of new sensors. Factory Dark Blue Pearl paint in great shape. Clean, intact, and complete matching blue interior. Custom-built rear sleeping platform with integrated storage that folds rearward to allow the rear seats to be used. Also includes a stash of extra parts, spare components, and stock hardware.

Full Transparency / The Mechanical To-Do List

  1. Running Condition: Currently running rich. Needs some fuel/air troubleshooting and tuning to get it dialled in. TPS, EVAP, or O2?
  2. Oil Leak: Has a leaky rear main seal that will need to be addressed.
  3. Emissions: No catalytic converter attached. Buyer will need to sort out a cat/smog depending on where you plan to register or drive it.

2nd gen engine swap in Phoenix, AZ area

Anyone have recommendations on where I can get an engine swap in the Phoenix area? I’ve called around a few places, and most shops say they don’t swap.
I did call Higgy’s in Mesa but they quoted $20,000 which seems steep to me.
I’m open to bringing the truck to any reputable locations within AZ or southern CA if you guys have any suggestions. Thanks!

Edit/Update: I’ve had a couple shops tell me that Higgy’s probably quoted that high because they don’t want to do the job. However, when I spoke to Higgy’s they didn’t give me that impression. If anything, they seemed more than willing and happy to do it, as they specialize in custom builds and are passionate about it. I’m also aware that prices for everything have gone up in recent years, which doesn’t help my case.

The Truck Shop in San Diego does the swap, are also highly rated, and quoted $10k-$15k dependent on certain factors. They did mention that getting it smog approved is a guaranteed bureaucratic nightmare in California though. A representative will need to approve it for smog one time, not every time I need to have it smogged (I’m moving back to CA in 6 months so that’s why that’s relevant)

It's 1st timing belt replacement. Need information

I'm going to get her timing belt changed, yes it still has the factory belt. It was a barn find with just 29,000 miles.

I'm in need of a list of other parts to change while the front is off the motor. I remember reading in this sub about a parts place (in Arizona I believe) where you can get oem quality parts.
