The sticker under the hood that says CATALYST

The sticker under the hood that says CATALYST

Can you please do me a favor?

If you have a 94 or 95 4Runner that is an automatic SR5 - V6 - 3.0L 2959cc GAS MFI vin V type 3VZ-E - 2 valve SOHC, and you have the original hood on your car, can you PLEASE take a photo of that sticker for me? I am trying to piece something together, and it would be extremely helpful to me. Thank you in advance!

Clock spring wiring diagram

Does anyone have one? My repair manual doesn’t, and I’m not finding it online.

94 4runner, 22re.

My goal is to repurpose the CC buttons for accessories, starting specifically with the on/off button.

I’m not savvy enough with electricity to figure it out on my own, I’ve been trying for hours and can’t seem to make any progress.

I’ve read about people trying it with tacomas I think it was, but that’s a whole different setup. There’s no resistor ladder in my wheel, just a couple wires feeding directly to the switches which IMO means this has to be possible.

The blue wire in the wheel itself is for the horn. On/off switch gets one red and white/black, other red and the green go to the switches on the right side of the wheel.

On the opposite side of the clock spring the wires don’t really coordinate much.

Has anyone else done this?

I thought about going at it two different ways. One: figure out the wiring at the relay in the kicker panel. Or two: figure out the clock spring and cut to patch in my new relay for lights.

Either way I’m confident I can make this work with a little help/guidance/knowledge. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Last picture for attention.

does anyone have a picture of their exhaust/catalytic converter set up to share?

Hello, I had some work done to my car and want to compare it to other 4Runners to see if it looks correct. Thank you!

3vze Cam scratched

As the title says I spotted a small scratch on what I believe is the mating surface to the seal. It didn’t leak to my knowledge before replacing . Does anyone see this being an issue?

4runner specialist in the northeast?

Does anyone have a recommendation for a 4Runner specialist in the northeast, my regular mechanic isn’t knowledgeable enough about this car.
Thank you!

New tires

Getting new 33s soon for my 4Runner and I’ll be living in Bozeman so I wanna prioritize snow and off road traction without making highway driving a dog fight. I’m pretty set on KO3’s right now but if anyone has any suggestions please let me know

Ultimate camp rig! 🌞

Goldie got a lil upgrade, took the back seat out, made a nice platform with an extension(75”x51”) then ripped out some nasty carpet in the back and tailgate, replaced it with vinyl 🤘🏼🤘🏼

Ticking noise above 1000 RPM

I need help diagnosing this noise on my 1995 v6 4Runner. I bought this car back in December and haven’t really noticed the noise until a few months ago. It only comes up above 1000 rpm, but usually gets drowned out due to road noise. I’ve tried looking up a cause and found people saying it’s either the valves needing new shims or an exhaust gasket going bad. Just wanted to post here to confirm, and see if anyone knows exactly what’s wrong.
