We will be debuting our Adopt-a-Polling-Station project at the teach in as well! With 3-4 hour lines, supporting people to stay in line will be incredibly important. This project will also be directly applicable for the fall 2027 provincial election.

We are also hosting a pub mingle Sunday Oct 18, 12-4pm at Frank's pub, 8815 99st.

• Last-minute talks, including calls with Canadian PM Mark Carney, led to the pause.
• Trump said the U.S. and Canada “have a DEAL” (subject to finalizing documents) and that the Keystone XL Pipeline “may be awoken from the grave.”
• The three-day pause prevented the tariffs from taking effect at midnight.

Just thought I could share a wee giggle with some of y'all.

Be prepared for some ridiculous headlines and sound bites this week as Trump's latest tariff deadline is set for Wednesday (August 19). Unfortunately, the chances of a reliable, trustworthy deal are near zero, while the likelihood of exasperatingly stupid headlines is very high. Stay sane inside insanity! It will be a challenging week, but we can do it.
