Is it strange to walk into a 7-Eleven shirtless?

I’ve seen people do it twice but just wanted to see what people thought.

The app sent me to a store that doesn't exist. And they won't refund me

I triple checked that I put in the store by my house, cause it's changed it on me before. But it changed it after I hit order. So I drive 20 minutes away, and it takes me to some random house. I screen recorded the Google maps street view.

Now I can't seem to cancel the order button. Chat support shows me a cancel button, but that only takes me back to the order where there's no cancel option. I looked online for support, but the only option is the chat.. There's no email or anything. I finally found a phone number. It told me it would send a text and then hung up. The text was a link to the app... Wtf

Anyone having issues trying to download My 7-Eleven app for fuel price locking?

As per title. A bit late to the game, but wanted to try out this feature to save on petrol prices. Is anyone having issues with the app?

Sorry if this is the wrong sub, but thought it's still relevant to being frugal regarding petrol prices.

Thanks!

Question for 7/11 workers (Current or Former employees, or anyone with knowledge about it)

I'm thinking about applying for a job at 7-Eleven and wanted to hear from current or former employees. How's the workload, management, training, scheduling, pay, and work environment? What are the biggest pros and cons? Any advice for someone considering working there? thanks for anyone who would reply!!!

Fuel Incident at 7/11

So normally I would understand what to do regarding an overfill, but this is baffling.

I put the fuel nozzle in, and everything was normal. except as soon as it took my card it started spraying. without the trigger engaged. I thought it wasn’t serious so i finished filling my car up… except again. Trigger not engaged. and fuel would not stop coming out. All over my car, boots, pants, and i paid almost double the gas bill I normally should.

Is this something I just can’t do anything about? I have a fairly new 23’ GTI, and I’m worried I damaged a lot of paint on my car + obviously paying too much.

Thanks all!

Is working at 7 eleven really that dangerous?

I'm getting hired at 7 eleven in a week and a bunch of people keep warning me that it's dangerous. Whether it's violent intoxicated costumers or how 7 elevens are one of the most targeted stores by armed robbers. The one I'm getting hired in is a bigger modern gas station/store hybrid and it's in a busy suburban commercial corridor way out of the city center, and I believe I'll always have a co-worker. Even with all that said all these comments are raising my anxiety. How worried should I be really? Cause I'm certainly not willing to get capped in the head for a minimum wage job.

Can you redeem 2 rewards in one transaction or do you need to separate them?

I have a free drink & free snickers ice cream reward from the T-mobile Tuesdays app. Can I get both items in one transaction by them scanning my bar code or do I need to separate them into two transactions?

7 Eleven Japanese Style Egg Salad Sandwich Review

This sandwich was just okay and nothing really special. The flavor was very mild and I expected more from it. The bread was soft and fluffy which was honestly the best part. The egg salad was creamy but it did not have much flavor. For almost six dollars I expected something a little more exciting. I would not buy it again at that price.

Fuel Lock Conveniently not working

I'm a regular user of the fuel lock feature on the app. I notice this is currently not working. Would I be wrong or too cynical thinking that this is corporate accidentally allowing the app to go down to save themselves for when the excise is reapplied? Wish I'd locked it in earlier!!

Is it just mine ?

Is it just my 7/11 ? When teenagers ( ages 12-19 ) come to the store their so entertained by the slurpees or always checking out the condoms and laughing . Especially white girls . Its almost immediately when they get to the slurpee station its like kevin hart stepped in . And lord forbid the slurpee machine “farts” omg ..

thoughts on an app/website for tracking fountain drink sizes at 711s?

the idea is to allow people to report what size fountain drinks locations they visit have and then the data can be used to allow people to sort locations by certain cup sizes with some way of indicating how up to date it is like showing text showing the last updated date if you hover over a drink size with a location chosen. i dont know much about coding, but im willing to learn just enough to develop this if anyone is interested. im mainly thinking about doing this because certain larger sizes can be quite rare with no way of knowing until you enter the store

“We’ve never seen that before” Employees stunned that I could buy items in app.

Today, I went to get some breakfast since the 7/11 near me has a deli / food prep area. I bought a breakfast sandwich, scanned the code in app and checked out. I showed the cashiers / clerks behind the counter and they were bewildered.

I also asked for the breakfast waffle sandwich originally and cited the deal ended in August. Basically refused to make it.

I guess I could just chalk it up to corporate not training their employees correctly.

Overcharged at 7-Eleven hay st mall

I walked to 7 Eleven at the hay street mall during my work break and purchased one 500ml can of OxyShred energy drink. the shelf price is $5.5, i just noticed i was charged $7.30 to my card.

I called the store and confirmed the price was $5.50 but they will not offer a refund without a receipt.
I feel it was on purpose as i was wearing headphones so maybe they are trying to scam me? she scanned the can in front of me and then asked me to pay, she didn’t scan anything else or anything strange.

has anyone else had a similar experience?
