Sometimes is it worth turning around and going back to get a picture.
I grew up where we had to have yellow headlights so the connection is deep and strong. What do you think of yellow on my 03 996 turbo? Yes, or no?
It’s official. Was hoping Hagerty wouldn’t declare it a total loss, but got word today that she’s totaled. Had an electrical fire from the fan. This is depressing.
Got a question for the illustrious 996tt community.
I am finally in the market and have stumbled upon two opportunities thus far. I am interested to know which one you would choose and why. Both are asking the same price ~$85k
For context, I am not afraid of modded car. I am not a flipper and plan to own for a very long time but I would be naïve to not pay attention to total cost of ownership. The EVOMS 996 looks like a monster and ton of fun but I understand how heavily modded cars appear on the resale market if I ever wanted to exit, despite the great reputation of EVOMS. The speed yellow looks like a great car and may have better longevity provide a better value.
Please help me! If you think I’m stupid, tell me! Or if you have one for sale, let me know.

It’s getting pricey for this old timer to keep my 200k mile Turbo. Parts are really both increasing dramatically in cost while indie labor rates are as always borderline usurious. Plus I’m no longer in a major metro area with my longtime competent “indie” help. So no I’m at the mercy of less than stellar techs.
My 7th and final Porsche 911 still runs like a stung mule - but the costs are getting to me! Alas - My motoring days with this one are sadly numbered.
But God knows - I’ve had my fun!
