Nuevo New Mexico needs 300 people!

Nuevo New Mexico just needs 300 more people to participate! Downvote the comment in the first image, and upvote the comment in the second image. If 300 people do both of these things, then Nuevo New ‘Mexico will live another day! (Sprey Vermonster)

My fellow Albuquerqueans…

You may or may not have heard of the state wars on r/geographymemes, and currently New Mexico is the biggest state. For the last 45 days, we have been at peace with all of the other big players. But today, we are now under threat of being voted out. I know this may seem silly, but please downvote the comment trying to vote New Mexico out, and upvote the next top comment that doesn’t threaten us.

Sincerely, a New Mexican from r/geographymemes

Black tow truck being used to steal vehicles

My Grey 2012 Nissan Altima was stolen last night near Wyoming and Moon. A black tow truck with a yellow logo on the side was used to take it and what looks like a red ford focus and a blue Honda civic both were with the tow truck and helped him break into and steal the car.

Edit: it may have been a red ford fusion, not a focus.

Where to see frogs/tadpoles in abq

Hi everyone,

I am wondering if there’s any places you guys have seen frogs or tadpoles around here. When I was a kid I used to love seeing them in the creek/drainage area thing by our house. I didn’t grow up here though and I know we don’t have a ton of amphibious species here in the high desert but I know there’s a couple species of tree frog at least. I don’t want to disturb them or catch them or anything like that. I just want to watch them lol sorry if that’s weird? They are one of my favorite animals and watching the tadpoles grow up and become little frogs makes me happy, I’ve been kinda depressed lately, and decided I wanted to go looking for some.

Anyway let me know if yall know a good place to see them!
