The whole point of a sequel is to be better than the game that came before it and that’s exactly what 2 did. Better graphics, better combat, more weapons, way more suits, way better traversal, and better quality of life features. It’s a no brainer that 2 is the best in the series despite the trolls here on Reddit and the grifters on YouTube say. Newer is always better, it’s common sense.

Ok, Padre is a cryptid at this point.

Not even the first demonic thing i've seen him do either.

Is it possible to complete the Dilettante trophy without buying pistols from the DLC shop?

I need two more pistols to complete the challenge and I feel like I’ve run out of available pistols in the game without using real world money to buy things from the DLC store. Did anyone complete it without buying them? If so where should I go to get the last 2?

Playing my first Assassin's Creed, don't crucify me for this but I am not vibbing with it.

Decided to go with black flag because people keep saying it's one of the best, it got remaked so it probably is.

Let's start with what I am enjoying, it's very pretty the waters the foliage the random animals, there was a lot of love and care was put into it.

The story seems interesting, I like this Edward fellow and the merchant guy I don't remember his name, we are on a quest to find this super ultimate device that sees and hears everyone at all times, aka Alexa or Siri .

Running and climbing around rooftops is fun, the stealth is alright, I barely started the game and might unlock some cooler better techniques later on.

Things I don't like, there so much clutter I disabled a lot of UI elements because they too many and taking up big portion of the screen.

Hand to hand combat is boring, I am sorry but it's boring you press circle then square, circle then square, might need to press X few times but that's it, the kill animation is neat but doesn't mean much of combat it's is tedious, I know it's a stealth game and direct combat is not the main juice of it, but sometimes the game put you in a combat situation and there is no escape of it.

Climbing a tower and do the synchronization thing is neat for the first time, cool for the second, and it got repetitive real fast.

Fighting random guards doesn't have any consequences or hardly reward me with anything so I just walk away I don't bother fighting them especially when the combat isn't that fun.

Framerate locked at 52-53 FPS after latest update?

Hi all, I've been having this issue where the framerate appears locked at a max. of 53 FPS when playing the Steam PC version of the game. Before, I was able to attain a locked 60 FPS with VSync enabled no problem, but now even with VSync off I cannot get that framerate. Changing the graphics settings does nothing, except when they are set too high and the framerate falls below the 52-53 FPS mark.

Since it appears locked at this FPS, I can only conclude that it was a bug with the latest patch. Has anyone else been facing this issue?

They cut some dialogue

It's pretty weird that Ubisoft added so many lines of dialogues, sometimes to repeat information we already have, but they cut some as well, stuff that was interesting or even kinda necessary for the plot.

For exemple, the debate on slavery between Torres and Prins has been greatly shortened, which is a shame.

Another one is they never say the Princess slave ship was taken by pirates. They just say it is in Africa. But when we arrive we see the black flag on the ship.

In the OG, Rogers does say that the ship was attacked.

In Resynced we don't really understand why it became a pirate ship once we get to Principe.

I'm sure some other stuff has been cut but I may have missed it.

Edit : they also removed El Tiburon's introduction

If you still play OG Black Flag over Resynced, why?

Not judging anyone, just curious to see what your reasonings might be. Resynced has its flaws too.

Annoying horn sound whenever you sail over a wave

Why does the game do this? Whenever you sail over the crest of a wave, it makes this weird loud horn sound after splashing down that completely takes away from the immersion. It’s really annoying.
