Is it true that afternoon exams are bit harder than morning ones?
Should i consider morning exams as priority while booking?

Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding the ACCA qualification changes coming in September 2027, where only one Strategic Professional optional paper will be required instead of two.

My situation is that I am eligible for exemptions and am wondering whether I should claim them now or wait until the new structure comes into effect.

My current plan is:

1. Claim my exemptions now
2. Sit SBL and one optional paper before September 2027
3. Leave SBR until after September 2027

If I do this, would I only need that one optional paper and then become an affiliate once the new rules take effect? Or would I still be required to complete two optional papers because I claimed my exemptions under the current structure?

Alternatively, would it be better to wait and claim my exemptions after the new qualification structure is introduced?

Has anyone seen any ACCA guidance on how exemptions and partially completed Strategic Professional papers will transition to the new qualification?

I just completed my bachelors in Accounting and Finance. I am hoping to get 9 exemptions and aiming to start my strategic exams preparation in august. I wanted to get some insights on some things:

1. Which exams should I attempt first?
2. What will happen after the 2027 Changes?
3. Should I do PER alongside the exams or pass all exams and then do PER?

So currently, I am preparing for September attempt i have 9/13 exemptions even though I am learning all the standard for the first time I’m able to understand them, but the problem is when I when it comes for me to writing answer, I go blank. It takes me 10 minutes to understand the question and when writing an answer, I miss major points and my wordings are not up to the professional language. What are the tips and techniques which I should follow to improve this and I have not completed my labour yet I will be completing my syllabus by July end and hoping I’ll give full August for caution practice, but right now, also, I think I should practise some questions so please help me

I just graduated from university, claimed my ACCA exemptions, and I'm starting at the Strategic Professional level. At the same time, I've just started my CA articleship, so my schedule is about to get pretty hectic.

Since I'll be working full-time and just want to clear these papers efficiently to get the ACCA certificate, I need some realistic advice:

1. Which paper should I take first? Given the heavy workload of articleship, which Strategic Professional paper is the most manageable to pair with it? (Note: I'm working in Assurance dept if that helps).
2. Tutor recommendations? Who are the best online tutors or academies for the paper you're recommending?
3. Study time? Realistically, how many hours a week or months of preparation will I need to pull this off while working full-time?

Would love to hear from anyone who balanced ACCA with articleship. Thanks in advance!

I just passed my ma2 exam on 10th of june and instantly prepared for ma exam i only covered new chapters bcz rest all chapters concepts are same as ma2 i covered all of them and now im in revision phase of ma i am feeling nervous and saw few posts that many people failed ma multiple time i scored 82 in ma1 and 73 in ma2 should i give ma exam this early or should i wait and give it in August?
