I stopped thinking of AI as something that should produce the finished piece for me. Now I'll throw an argument at it, ask it to challenge me, change directions halfway through, or point out something I haven't considered.

The writing still ends up being mine, but the process feels much less isolated. It almost feels like having someone available whenever I need another perspective.

I've noticed that asking for a specific length sometimes makes the response much tighter. Without a limit, it tends to keep adding explanations and examples until the original point gets buried.

I'm curious whether others deliberately use word or sentence limits when working with AI.
