Late testing for ap physics 1

What should I focus on the most. I havnt rlly reviewed much recently and I lowk still havnt finished unit 8. What comes up the most on the exams and do I focus on mcqs or frqs. Does anyone have any college board questions I could practice with.

10th grade AP physics

My kid wants to do engineering in college. He took one AP in 9th grade and did well. He is going into 10th grade in Fall and he signed up to take 2 APs, including AP physics 1. His course load with other non AP classes are advanced level courses as well. He is also doing other extra curricular things (orchestra -which can be intense as well).

I am worried about AP physics in 10th grade especially. He is a smart kid and loves Mathematics. I was wondering from other parents with kids in 10th that took AP physics 1 and other advanced course load. How did you manage? I dont want underestimate AP physics. How did you prep them and support them so the GPA stays high?

Why is the t0 Olympiads site down? Does anyone know the new link?

I haven’t been able to access the t0 Olympiads website recently.
Is it down for everyone, or has the URL changed?
If anyone has the updated or new link, please share.

AP Physics C HELLPPPPP!!!!!!

I'm currently taking ap physics C mechanics and E&M and im stressed. For mechanics, I'm using IITIAN Academy, princeton review, flipping physics, and past FRQ and those are okay (not great not good) BUT THE SECOND I OPEN COLLEGE BOARD PRACTICE MCQS I GO CRAZY AND SUDDENLY NOTHING MAKES SENSE. Please I need a 5 I understand the concepts but practice is so hard and I can't find enough resources. ANY TIPS AT ALL from ANYONE especially people who got a 5 would be VERY GREATLY APPRECIATED. I'm an international student btw. Also I'm not practicing for E&M yet but tips for that would be great too. Sorry can you tell I'm stressed..

5 cutoffs

I got the form M. MCQs were wayy too easy. FRQs were relatively harder.

These are my worst case predicted scores:

MCQs: 35/40

FRQ 1: 8

FRQ 2: 8

FRQ 3: 3

FRQ 4: 5

Composite score is about a 59/80, 73%

Would a 5 be possible? From people who have given the exam in 25, how do you think the curves are?

what do y'all think the cutoff is gonna be this yr

is it true that they moved the cutoff up to 60-63/80 because of the new testing format + increased time? bc if so i might have a borderline 4-5 and like ik it shouldn't matter but my college only accepts 5s fr credit so i'm tweaking rn. praying the cutoff stays the same at 50/80 or we might be cooked

Do you recommend taking AP Physics C without prior AP Physics 1?

I’ve taken an honors Physics class, but it was very light.

Now I’m trying to decide whether to take AP Physics 1 or AP Physics C senior year. I’m not an engineering major, but a math-related major.

What do you recommend?

What are the best resources to self study AP Physics C mech?

for context i took physics 1 and calc bc this year and i feel confident in both. but i feel like ap physics C is much harder to self study, idk. what resources should i use because im trying to start studying early?

Is it a bad idea to take AP Physics C concurrently with AP Calc AB

My school allows students to take calculus and physics C concurrently, but I know that physics C is already very difficult, even for people who have already take calc. I took physics 1 this year and struggled a bit at the beginning, but improved steadily throughout the year. I’m typically a pretty decent math student and can learn fairly quickly, but even though I’m doing well in math currently, I’m worried that I won’t catch onto calc fast enough for physics C. I really enjoyed physics 1, and I want to take physics C, but I’m just not sure if it’s realistic for me to do well in the class without prior experience with calculus. I’m going to be taking 4 APs next year (gov, art, stat, calc) but if I decide to take physics C then I will drop stat.

AP Physics C: E&M Help!

Four charges are arranged at the corners of a square: three positive charges +Q and one negative charge -Q at the bottom-right corner. At the center of the square, the direction of the net electric field is:

A) Toward the negative charge

B) Away from the negative charge

C) Straight upward

D) Straight downward

ppl who say the cutoff for a 5 is 81%

with so much confidence are giving me panic attacks i genuinely don't think I could even get 70% in E&M. is the mech cutoff also around that rabge

Ap Physics 1 frq 4 question

I have been worried about this for the past 2 days. For frq 4, I remember booklet part 4 is so thin, maybe only one or two pages? But frq 1-3 have many pages, I am sure I put frq 1-3 in the right place because they have corresponding graphs, axes that won't be wrong. But for frq 4, there are just like three blank sections. My form is L, but I don't remember what the letter on top is, and I am so worried that I will write it in the wrong spot.

Hypothetically what score would I get

What score would I get on the exam for Physics 1 if I got like 30ish on mcqs and bombed frqs? By bombed I mean not getting any answer right but I did show work for most and used the equations to derive

Self Study AP Physics C:Mech

How do I self study all of AP Physics C:mech in the next 5 days? This is what claude told me:

The Right Approach for C Mech Cramming

>❌ Don't start with formulas

>C Mech has too many formulas that look similar (especially in rotation). If you just memorize them without context, you'll mix them up under pressure or not know when to apply them.

>✅ Do this instead — concept → formula → FRQ

>For each unit, go in this order:

>Watch a short video first (10–20 min) — Flipping Physics or AP Classroom unit videos. Just enough to get the physical intuition of what's happening.

>Build your formula sheet as you go — write each formula only after you understand what it means. Include the conditions it applies under.

>Do FRQs immediately after each unit — don't wait until you've covered everything. AP Classroom has unit-specific FRQs, or use past exams filtered by topic.

Does anybody have any resourses like a Cram Guide or a list of all the derivations I need to know? If I got a 5 on physics 1 whatre the chances I get a 5 on cmech with these 5 days of studying?

AP Physics 1 Free Response Concern

So I just took the AP Physics 1 exam, and am worried that I put my response to the fourth frq on the wrong page. The page I put it on was in the right format with three parts (A, B, C), but I cant remember if I checked the page number. I had the spinning toys question, but I just wanted to know if the other test versions for frq 4 had similar three part formatting or were distinct. If they were different then I could confirm I had mine on the right page.
