Yesterday I was staring at the ceiling of my private domicile that I will not be harassed in, and had an idea. What if we remade our beloved show in live action?

Not suggesting anything, just an observation.

Culturally, that’s still an open question. That’s just an irrefutable fact. Make of that what you will.

We need more poverty to create an army of the poor to dominate the world

I thought the show had set up for some kind of feature film after, like something about finding Zuko’s mom, how the world changed after the war, a send off of all the characters we came to love, and of course: some kind of definitive resolution to Azula’s character (be it good or bad, just so long as it resolved; I was afraid she would be some kind of stupid villain of the week for some inane plot line limbo, passing time until Korra forgets her).

But this is even better than a movie. You have so much more material to work with, no time constraints, budget limitations, and characters that are already well established and incredible. I can’t imagine all the stuff they did with it! The only limit is the imagination of the author and the quality of the writing. ✍️

The name Tenzin seems to be a culturally Air Nation name, and Tenzin turned out to be an air bender. Kya was Katara’s mother’s name, so we know it’s a Water Tribe name, and Kya is a water bender. Obviously Bumi is an Earth Kingdom name, but Bumi does not have any Earh Bending genetics within him, so he can’t bend. Therefore, it is obvious that the element that people bend in this universe is based off of their first name. Why did Aang now just have as many kids as possible and give them all Air Nation names? Is he stupid?

OMG; he was SO real for this. Thank god the writers addressed his problematic past. I was literally in tears. Like leaves from her vine.
