Google is aggressively locking down Android to mimic Apple's closed ecosystem, making life much harder for open-source gaming. By forcing developers to give THEIR OWN ID to sign any app even direct downloads from GitHub, Google is limiting OUR anonymous creators who want to avoid legal lawsuits from major gaming companies. (NINTENDOOOO😭😭)
This policy directly cripples tools like OBTAINIUM,which we use to get EMULATORS AND UPDATES from open-source repositories. Because Android will completely block the installation of unregistered, unverified software, Obtainium will not be able to install and update any unverified apps or emulators.(WE ARE COOKED.🙏)
Furthermore, Google's new Play Integrity security checks actively scan the operating system. Since dedicated handhelds like the Ayn Odin or Ayn Thor and any other Android devices use specialized hardware, they frequently trigger these "untrusted environment" flags, instantly blocking users from running mobiles games, streaming apps, and banking software.
GOOGLE IS KILLING ANDROID GAMING DEVICES !
They are limiting us and not letting us play everything. So, ITS TIME TO DOWNLOAD EMULATORS BEFORE U CAN’T !
