Hey guys, I try to stay out of things that are fan community but I just wanted to say thank you so much for the passion you guys have for the book (and comics in general). It’s really inspiring for Nick and me to see

Yes I know this is a different kind of joker but still this could be the best Batman animation since BTAS and I have yet to hear a better Joker voice than the classic Mark Hamill. I think he’s still got a few good years left in him to voice Joker and I don’t want to waste it!

Maybe he’ll sound a little old, but given Absolute Joker IS an immortal demon that’s 1000 years old it wouldn’t be entirely unfitting. Mark can just talk calmly in his normal voice for human form Joker and then switch to his iconic Joker voice for his clown demon form. Or they can use 2 actors, a younger actor for the human form and Mark Hamill for the devil form.

I’m so frustrated by everything being scalped and hoarded by people. I’ve been looking for 2 first print books for my collection. I have every other one but I’m missing number 4 and number 11, and I can’t find them anywhere. Where ever I do find them, it’s people who have 15-20 copies of them and selling them at higher pricing. I just need those 2 to complete my set and I can’t find a reasonable seller that isn’t charging an arm and a leg.

Edit: lots of people are saying the same thing of having a pull list at my LCS. I do. I have a pull list at my LCS, the just had medical issues for the past year and have missed a few issues, those being 4,8,11 but I have everything else. I should also state that I don’t live in the u.s. I see that they have a lot more access to people reselling, over here (in Canada) it’s been difficult to find copies on marketplace, or kijiji. On eBay it has a massive shipping fee to Canada.

Hi everyone

I am really new to collecting comics and have been loving collecting absolute Batman but have come across a dilemma and I need the community’s help!

I trying to work out if it would be better to either acquire an issue 1 graded 9.8 first or go after the rest of the issues I need first which is 1-14?

Right now I can only really afford to do 1 or the other and I’m worried that prices will continue to go up for everything to the point it may not be worth it.

Would love to know your guys thoughts!

Ive been collecting the entire absolute universe in first print and some variants on top of that. I’m considering sending some issues to be graded but I’m not sure which issues are worth it.

As of right now I have these put aside to send off:

I’m pretty open to send anything from the universe if it’s worth it. Any advice is appreciated! I just wanna send them all in one fell swoop. Thank you!

What these books are going for is unreal. I may have to get a few of the issues in the series slabbed. Even All In #1 is going high because of the first appearance of the Absolute characters.

So in Issue 19, batman is watching as Gotham welcomes Jack Grimm but he is introduced as Jack Grimm IV. But when Slade Wilson announces the Robin program he says it's funded by Jack Grimm V. So did snyder just mess up while writing the issue or is he trying to say no one in Gotham really knows who he is or is he implying that joker makes it seem as if there is more than one Jack Grimm in Gotham ?
