the state of my collection so far, I’ll be getting a few more Acceleracers soon, and I’m planning to print a few decals to finish some customs…

like ive always wondered this even as a kid. why is the Hot Wheels logo on everything in universe? Ithe logo is all over tezlas cube, its a keychain that every driver has, its a decal on every single car.

like obviously i know this is a movie made to sell toys and so having the logo on everything is good for branding and such but like its in the movie, surely theres an actual reason why its there.

Maybe in-universe Hot Wheels is not a toy brand but an actual car manufacturer that Tezla outsources to? i imagine he still designs the cars but itd be a lot more efficient to outsource the construction to a real car manufacturer rather than try to build it in house.

Any thoughts on this? Maybe its in some comic i never saw or something.

I wish the design of High Voltage was different tbh…

Using the track designs and other realm cars, I made a realm car for all the Teku cars that went into realms except for Reverb. The reason I chose each realm was either where it was destroyed (like RD-06, Jackhammer and RD-05 I believe) or where it stood out in the realm as a prominent part (like Spectyte). Also unlike several of the actual realm cars, I tried to fit the realm symbol onto the car, some cars required more work than others to draw (since I'm lazy) so you can tell I skipped out on Power Rage since the Addidas version fit nearly perfectly for water.

If anyone wants to use these designs as a base for customs you are welcome to, I just thought it would be cool for more realm cars.

It's still missing the blue Teku logo on the hood but it's almost finished otherwise.

Northern Nigeria.

Kadeem's home is described as having a desert "grow around it" in "100 years." It is also described as a place involved in some sort of internal conflict. This sounds quite similar to the encroachment of the Sahara into the northern regions of Nigeria and the ensuing Islamist insurgency which has recently ravaged the region.

Kadeem also has an Irish-English given name and an Arabic-derived last name. He is also said to be a Muslim. Northern Nigeria is predominantly Muslim and thus most people from that region have names of Arabic origin. Nigeria is also the only English-speaking African country to have substantial territory in the Sahara.

With all these taken into consideration, my best guess is that Kadeem is from one of Nigeria's northern states, those being Sokoto, Zamfara, Katsina, Kano, Jigawa, Yobe, and Borno. If I had to guess which one, I'd say Borno or Yobe, given those states are the most classically Saharan in landscape (at least they appear that way on Google Earth.)

had a battery leak all ovee the battery compartment, but cleaned it up and it's working! what do these sell for nowadays? I can't even find any for comparison

Hello! I just got my first spectyte in the mail and love it, aside from the wheels. The stock wheels dont sit straight and are quite wobbly. Is this something that can be fixed with an axel replacement, or would I need new wheels entirely? Wondering if the inside of the wheel is worn down.

Finally, after years of searching in German stores. I found a hotwheels toy which is acceleracers related. 😭😭😭

Guys TELL ME I'm not schizophrenic, this has to be some kid's custom Covelight, right??? I'm like 99% sure it is, based off the painted decals and red dot wheels, I donMt know what else it could literally be… It's honestly one of my favorite and most unique finds of all time, because it's 1 of 1!!! This was definitely someone's childhood, and since I don't have an original Covelight, this is going into my collection as my official Covelight 😭

I've looked into it and it uses the 2019 Halloween release (which is kinda crazy to think that's 7 years ago), but with the decals removed / faded and all painted over with purple and red paint. I'd assume they were going for a look where when the Silencerz go invisible they'd look like this? Whatever it is, it actually does look pretty sick, maybe someone should try to make a more official custom with actual CM6 and custom tampos!!
