Big fan of the podcast and got into the audiobooks/books because of it. Currently looking for recs for the most hype books to listen to whilst training. Cheers!

Seeing the Black Company books on acceptable losses was a surprise and a welcome one. It also made me think if any other book series were on the docket for possible future episodes.

Malazan has been one of my favorite series of all time, but it is notoriously large and complicated. Though I suppose just covering Gardens of the Moon and maybe Deadhouse Gates would be within the scope of acceptable losses.

I'm currently halfway through book 9 of Joe Abercrombies First law series, and feel comfortable saying that it is deserving of all the love its fans show it.

Wheel of time kinda falls more into standard fantasy than grim dark.

Game of Thrones is a standard suggestion for dark and gritty fantasy.

So, I suppose the question is, does Possum have any future series they're excited for? and does anyone else have any book series to recommend?

Am I hallucinating or did they never release an episode of "You've been lied to about Slaanesh". I can find the ones for Nurgle, Khorne and Tzeentch. I want to imagine I've see one for Slaanesh but can't find it anymore.

I know we recently had an episode on the Skitarii, but I think it might be interesting to have an indepth episode on the many different and often overlooked/forgotten aspects of the Adeptus Mechanicus. Specifically the different specializations and factions within. For example…

•The ranks within the hierarchy and how to move between them.

•What an Electro-Priest is and why there are two factions of them in a perpetual “Cold War”. And their inspirations.

•The lesser known biological divisions.

•The assassins of the Techpriests

I just rewatched the Traitor Guard episode of the show and at the end he mentioned he was going to the UK to do recordings for a vid but I don't know if there has been any updates on the matter. Anyone got any clue whats happened with that? Any official statements or the like? I enjoyed the vid of the gang discussing visiting the UK but that seemed more of a seperate thing.

I’m honestly not sure how much content there is for such a subject, but I think it would be a very interesting subject to explore.
If currency alone is too lacking in content for a dedicated episode, then perhaps it could be expanded to cover “the speculative economics of Warhammer 40K”. It could cover how the many levels of trade functions within and between each faction.
