So my wife lost her right AirPodsPro 2 over a year ago. She had just been putting up with only having the left one for a while now, hoping that she would be able to find it eventually.

Unfortunately, she has been in the hospital a lot recently, and I wanted her to have a full set, so I bit the bullet and ordered a replacement using the Apple Support app. When it came, and I tried to reprogram it along with the original one, I got the message that the AirPods were mismatched (the new one was showing up as a 1 instead of a 2 for some reason).

This may have been because at one point we thought we had found the missing right one, but it turns out it was one of her really old AirPods Pro 1. And I found that out when trying to reprogram that one using her case and her phone. So maybe the case got confused. Or maybe Apple just sent me the wrong one.

So I make an appointment and go to the Genius Bar today. And I gave them the backstory and the case and both AirPods. They spend some time in the back and then came out and said that they were going to give me a brand new set of AirPods 3!!

Which is just so awesome for them to do, especially with my wife in the hospital. So big kudos to Apple. I know sometimes people get pretty upset with them for either pricing, unwanted software changes, etc. But in this case, they really took care of a loyal customer!

My APP3 NC works good in an office setting. But when I’m in a crowded noisy area with lots of talking, the NC hardly works.

I tried this with different size ear tips.
They all says “sealed”

Does this happen to other with. APP3?

AirPods Pro 3 static/firework popping — anyone else?

Mine crackle and pop like tiny fireworks, mostly in ANC mode. Tried resetting, re-pairing, updating firmware — nothing fixes it. My buddy’s did the exact same thing right out of the box, brand new, no fix in sight either.

Feels like half these units are just lemons. Anyone actually gotten Apple to fix it instead of just swapping it for another bad one?

Just got the AirPods Pro 3, and been facing a lot of crackling. Whenever I adjust volume or change songs it's present, and the music also just randomly pauses? There's some slight crackling in certain parts of songs at high volume as well.

Not sure if this is an issue with just the one I got or an issue others are dealing with too

Just upgraded from AirPod 2s to Pro3s. From what I’ve been reading adaptive mode is Apple’s recommended listening mode. However, long pressing the pro 3s will toggle them between transparent mode and ANC only.

If I go for a run or cycle I’m best off changing them to transparent mode so I’m aware of what’s around me. Frustratingly though to change back to Adaptive mode I then have to go back into the AirPod settings on iPhone to re-select Adaptive mode each time. Am I missing something here, is there logic behind why pressing the AirPods doesn’t toggle all modes? Or do those that use Adaptive mode just leave it on all the time?

Hey Guys so I have a problem. I used my first gen Air Pods pro for 6 years and the fit was perfect. I was really happy overall then they got water damage. So i invested in brand new airpods pro 3d gen.

The fit is pretty bad tbh also with the xs eartips. what should i do? Will the pads or my ears adapt over time or should i just opt for different earphones?

I can still send them back for 1,5 weeks.

Any advice is appreciated. Ty in advance.

So I used first gen AirPods for like 5 years and I decided to buy the pro 3. I bought them and the anc wasn’t working (maybe a little little little bit) so I asked for a refund. Then I bought a second pair of them and it’s exactly the same. I tried everything the internet said me to do but nothing worked. Am I extremely unlucky or is it me the problem? Do you guys have ever had something like this ?

Edit : My sister tested it and said that the anc was working

I just bought a pair of airpods pro 3. and i noticed that the case creaks more than my pro 1st gen and is not flush with the body, i thought it was normal, but when i put my right bud is the case the lid always grinds or catches the airpod when closing, should i return it?
