Should the Bringston gang get cameos or some type of mention in the final season of AA? Would you at least want them to?

Should the Bringston gang get cameos or some type of mention in the final season of AA? Would you at least want them to?

The chances of this are super low, but in a perfect world, since Homecoming was cancelled on a complete cliffhanger, I’d love it and get some type of closure if the Bringston gang were given some type of cameos, or mentions, leading up to the series finale on how they’re all doing.

With Jordan and everyone done with college, Simone and the others will be too, so they should all be at least starting or be in the middle of their careers post-graduation. So I’d like some mentions of how they’re all doing. Simone’s tennis career, Damon & Thea’s time on the pro circuit, Cams music career, Nate’s law/journalism, Keisha’s dancing, Landon’s art/photography goals, JRs status.

And the relationship pairings. If Lando and Simone truly are endgame, the JR, Keisha, Cam & Gabby debacle. Amara and Marcus.

IF nothing else, Simone and Cam at least should get some kind of update. They are OG AA characters too and should at least be mentioned if no one else from Homecoming will be. If we can get Shawn flashbacks, Patience coming back, Cliff Mosbey and other OG characters coming back for a final curtain call, then they (and Homecoming) should be allowed this too.

Bonus: Since Jordan and Layla are having clear marriage issues this season, it would also make sense for Simone to cameo to help give Jordan clarity on how to navigate it.

New episode

There was no football in this episode at all wtf I’m not saying I don’t care about social injustice but this whole episode was just awful and a shitty filler

Forgot Asher was in Austin and Ally

Also insert Doofenshmirtz meme where if I had a nickel every time a character played by Cody Christian was on an AA show Id have 2 nickles which isn't a lot but its weird that it happened twice

Don’t they have a showcase to prepare for?

Is this not a football show anymore? This episode was ridiculous and I see why it’s one of the worst rated episodes in this series. First of all, I’m not inhumane and I understand what the Hispanic and foreign communities are going through. A lot of it is messed up but I understand what’s up.

With that being said, there’s no reason for the show to go far left. I like that they stand up for injustices in America but this ICE situation should not be one of them. Like the student stated earlier that it is not OUR problem and he’s right. There is not “Black and brown” coalition and the Hispanic community would not risk their freedom to protect us as Black people.

The injustices that they should be fighting for are things like;

  1. Black history and how the administration is trying to erase us
  2. The “DEI” bs and how thousands of Black people lost their jobs
  3. Anti-Black Hate Crime Bill to protect us

That ICE raid was so ridiculous. There’s no way that the agents would bust into that school classroom like it’s a war zone. I normally don’t write reviews but I had to because This episode was exaggerated and out of place.

The Craziest Fall Off Ever?

Hey y’all. So back in the day I watched all American when it was still pretty new and was airing on the CW. But if I remember correctly I stopped watching after Coop got shot. All the BLM and Activism in the show was so forced (which I understand is them trying to show they’re apart of the fight, but the way they did it to me was superbly corny and cringe.)

Anyways, I decided after all these years out of Boredom I would catch up on Netflix and I just finished S6 E13 “Victory Lap”.

This feels like the true ending to the show for me. I started watching the other two episodes after and genuinely could care less. I saw some TikTok’s and a few clips of season 7 and the new season and….i just feel like Taye Diggs and Daniel Ezra getting bored of the show ruined the entire show for me as they both exited and their stories never truly finished… The Billy Baker death in my opinion was the start of the downfall of the show, and was extremely forced and easy to catch, and I understand the suddenness was supposed to affect the viewers and hit close to home…but why did they have to drag out so many storylines over the next few seasons? Miko should’ve lasted a few episodes max, it’s crazy that she stabs Patience then disappears for a whole season until Coop “somehow” saves the day. Typical Olivia and Spencer “wow we can’t be together, it’s not right, let’s fight over random stuff” . Only redeeming thing I enjoyed was seeing Asher redeem himself in a sense. But everything else about this show for me has tanked massively in quality. And the fact that they’re trying to bait people back in with guest appearances? I don’t care about some random new generation of kids in Crenshaw. I want to see Spencer and his NFL success. Him paying it back to his family and friends after all he went through.

Instead, I feel like we are forced to watch this show drag its name through the dust with these new characters I have 0 care for and 0 need to even want to watch.

IMO, the show should’ve ended after Spencer made the draft. Just a take. What do you guys think? Sorry for the essay but I just wanted to air out my feelings. I don’t think I could force myself to watch season 7 or even 8 unless I watch the guest episodes.

Why do writers keep reusing the same cheating plot?

We’re 8 seasons in and we still keep getting cheating plots. Genuinely is there no other way for them to create drama besides cheating? The same cheating plots were happening in All American Homecoming too.

  1. Layla cheats on Asher
  2. Asher cheats on Layla
  3. Spencer cheats on Layla
  4. Olivia cheats on Asher
  5. Asher cheats on Olivia
  6. Skye cheats on Coop
  7. Billy cheats on Grace
  8. Grace cheats on Corey
  9. Simone cheats on Jordan
  10. Keisha cheats on Cam
  11. JR cheats on Gabbie
  12. KJ cheats on Tori

Are we being deadass?

CONTEST: Who more annoying later seasons Coop or Amina. Damn near going with Amina, her attitude and shit need to be checked. Tori should KOd her ass lolll and then KJ weird ass to. Dude got the fakest dialogue I ever seen in a character like no one talks like that.

Amina and ice

Amina might not be everyone’s cup of tea but her speaking out about ICE kidnapping ppl makes me love her. The new episode shows what people see and go through and I’m so glad they’re showing it in the season.

CW dropped a new/different trailer

“Home is Crenshaw, and it’s where I wanna raise my kids”…so who’s gonna predict that Spencer is going to get traded in for a team in California? Or maybe this is just to throw the audience off and instead he was just having doubts and just decides to stay in New York.

Also Jordan saying “I can’t lose Liv”, like pls, let’s hope everyone gets a happy ending 😭 But I’m one hundred percent assuming they will duh bc it’s the final season

the amount of family lore these twins are gonna learn about…

Imagine Liv just telling them like yeah btw your late grandpa Billy was first in a serious relationship relationship with grandma Grace then when she married your late grandpa Corey she had an affair with grandpa Billy that me and your dad didn’t find out about till we were teens. I think your uncle Dillon was always somewhat speculated to actually be your grandpa Billy’s son and it was disproven. Your dad also was in a close relationship with Aunt Layla. Your great grandma also had a secret child who we never knew about who tried to use his child and grandson to destroy grandpa Billy’s legacy! But we didn’t find out that secret family line existed till I was pregnant with the both of you!

It def won’t come out exactly like that lmao, but knowing both Spence and Liv I’m sure they’ll probably teach them it was all a lesson to be learned and how it was all mistakes if the kids know the truth. Before anyone comments, I know they all love each other at the end of the day , this just popped into my mind but hey this is like every soap opera though
