This is the new Hyundai Tucson. A new evolution of the always bold, popular family SUV has finally arrived, and based on its chiseled and muscular design, it wants to smash the competition.

The outgoing Tucson was certainly a striking model, but its replacement is a proper show-stopper that appears to have taken some styling tips from the bigger Hyundai Santa Fe, plus armoured trucks and maybe even Robocop. It definitely stands out from its rivals that include the Kia Sportage, Toyota RAV4, Volkswagen Tiguan and Nissan Qashqai.

The new Tucson was styled according to Hyundai’s latest design language, Art of Steel, that’s meant to create sharp, precise and sculpted surfaces inspired by the way steel bends and reflects light.

Gone is the rounded front end and curves of the outgoing model, instead this new generation adopts a more upright, boxy, almost 4x4-inspired stance that gives it plenty of presence and, hopefully, space inside.

Recent filings from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) have revealed full details for BYD's premium sub-brand Denza and its upcoming all-electric N8 and extended-body N8L SUVs.

The headline update is a massive leap in endurance, with the standard Denza N8 now achieving a maximum CLTC pure electric range of 1,003 km. This milestone is made possible by BYD's new generation 130.15 kWh LFP Blade battery pack, alongside a 105.792 kWh option, offering range ratings of 800 km, 840 km, 970 km, and 1,003 km. The longer N8L utilizes the 130.15 kWh battery to deliver 960 km of range.

Visually, both luxury three-row models maintain Denza's sleek design language with clean refinements, including a unified daytime running light strip and parallel slim rear taillights. The standard N8 measures 5,150 mm long, 1,999 mm wide, and 1,820 mm high, while the extended N8L stretches overall length to 5,200 mm. Both share a 3,075 mm wheelbase and support BYD’s latest ultra-fast charging technology.

Powertrain options include two rear-wheel-drive single-motor setups producing either 320 kW (429 hp) or 370 kW (497 hp). A flagship triple-motor four-wheel-drive configuration combines a 270 kW (362 hp) front motor with two 310 kW (416 hp) rear motors for a massive total output of 890 kW (1,193 hp).

This update highlights the rapid pace of EV progress. When the Denza N8 originally launched in 2023, reaching over 1,000 km required the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variant with its petrol engine. Now, the new BEV model matches that long-distance endurance using battery power alone.

Hello, i am kinda new to Reddit. This is my 2006 Smart Roadster tuned from 82 hp to 109 hp. It has a hardtop roof, scissor doors, cruise control, spacers and it has been a bit lowered last month. I bought it stock and i own it for almost 5 years now. It is my first car, and i am gonna try to keep it as long as possible. It also has a tinted back window now, but i don't have a good picture of that right now. 😅
