What has been an extremely obscure yet historically accurate fact you have spotted on a movie that you found amazing for being included there?
This is just one reason I love the Muppets: While watching A Muppet Christmas Carol (again), I noticed Rizzo and Gonzo changed outfits while posing as chimney sweeps. It’s only one scene, and they are on screen for maybe 3 minutes.
Here are the standard “costumes” for most of the movie.
And here are the chimney sweep outfits.
What really struck me was the brass badge on Rizzo’s hat. So being the history nerd I am, I investigated and Wikipedia did not let me down: “In 1788, the Chimney Sweepers Act 1788: An Act for the Better Regulation of Chimney Sweepers and their Apprentices was passed, to limit a sweeper to six apprentices, at least 8 years old. . . It introduced the Apprenticeship Cap badge.”
The Muppets, out-nerding you since forever.
When you watch it in one go, Hiruzen acquitted himself remarkably well. Not hard to see how he was the strongest of the Gokage

Who is your favorite character in all of fiction, and why? What specifically made you so attached?
My favorite? I have to say Guts from Berserk, also known as the Black Swordsman.
What makes me so attached to him is how his character development really grew throughout the series and how complex he is. Not only does he kick ass with that big sword but he had a childhood full of trauma, bloodshed, and abuse in the Golden Age arc which made him full of rage and hatred because of that reason. I won’t go into detail of what happened but it does relate to sexual abuse and it still affects him as an adult. There are so many things I love about him and what makes him so realistic, you will understand if you read the manga but yeah. This poor guy went through a lot and is still willing to fight for what’s right and of course scorning Griffith who betrayed everyone in the Band of the Hawk he loved and care for, even his lover Casca. Just seeing his character grow is what I love the most about him, including his design which makes him look mysterious and badass.
