So I just started playing DS1 for the first time and accidentally killed one of the pyromancy merchants (I thought he was an enemy because he looked super demonic), and also sent Laurentus to his death unknowingly. So at this point, I think I’m screwed bc my pyromancy flame was only +6. I ended up asking for help on another thread and this guy offered to invade me and have the Blighttown witch spawn, which ended up saving my ability to upgrade pyro! He even gifted me a bunch of soul items and humanity for the journey ahead.
