Bloodborne Installer (now for Steam Deck & Linux) - Automated Setup, Xbox UI, Upscaled Graphics & QoL Mods

Hi everyone,

I've just updated my "Bloodborne PC Enhanced Installer" to auto-detect the OS. It will now detects Linux or Steam Deck and will install the appropriate version of the fork (bloodborne_pc).

Like previously, the installer is mostly automated and installs some nice-to-have "Quality of Life" mods (like warping between lamps) and graphical enhancements.

While keeping the vanilla experience.

I don't own a Steam Deck myself, but I've tested that succesfuly on CachyOS, and a friend tested it on its Steam Deck. Your feedbacks are however important to help to even improve it.

From our tests, default settings should give you 50-60 FPS out of the box.

Bloodborne PC Enhanced Installer - Automated Setup, Xbox UI, Upscaled Graphics & QoL Mods

Hi everyone,

I've created a Bloodborne PC Enhanced Installer to make setting up the unofficial PC port easier, with a curated selection of graphical enhancements and quality-of-life mods.

Update 10/11/2026:

The installer (v26.10.10) has been updated to auto-detect the OS and installs the linux version of the fork on Linux and Steam Deck.

For now the installer targets the Linux v0.5 - not the v0.51 as it seems to have problems with Nvidia and other custom setups.

On Windows, it's still using the v1.6 of the Supermedo's fork.

What's included ?

The installer verifies the integrity of the PKG files, automates their extraction and the setup of the unofficial port of Bloodborne, "bloodborne_pc", applies a conservative default configuration focused on stability (60 FPS, Two-stage GPU Pipeline disabled), and installs the following enhancements:

  • Xbox Controller prompts + 4K Upscaled UI (by MoxIsABox)
  • Upscaled Skybox and Clouds (by johnnycoax)
  • Auto refill from storage (by LordTPS)
  • Coldblood Items Show Value (by BaseIDev)
  • Lamp2Lamp: Warp Between Lamps (by Disschorde)
  • Ebrietas Charge Hitbox Fix (by thetrashlp)

The goal is to preserve a mostly vanilla experience while making a few welcome improvements along the way. All mods are enabled by default, but can of course be disabled individually through BBPort's configuration menu (Bloodborne.exe)

Who am I?

Some of you may know me from my Enhancement Packs for various older games, including Resident Evil and Hitman titles, or my universal downgraders for Fallout 4 and Skyrim SE.

I'm the creator of Mulderland, a project focused on making game modding, modernization, and downgrading easier through automated installers.

To be clear, I'm not the creator of the Bloodborne PC port or the included mods.

My contribution is to provide an easy-to-use automated installer with a curated selection of mods. Putting everything together takes several hours of integration, scripting, and testing. All original authors are properly credited on my website and within the installer.

Crashes or Bugs

Default configuration seems to work for 90-95% of users but it's still not perfect. If having crashes or bugs, here what you can try:

  • Change the Upscaler (or disable it)
  • Avoid to go higher than 60 FPS (the default configuration does that already)
  • Disable the mod "highresskyv2.0"

(specially for missing textures or randomy invisible ennemies !)

Notes

  • You must provide your own legally obtained Bloodborne game files and v1.09 update (CUSA03173). They are not included or distributed by this installer; their integrity is checked during installation.
  • The default configuration prioritizes stability, but you can of course customize it to your liking through Bloodborne.exe

I hope this makes getting Bloodborne up and running on PC a little easier for everyone!

Mulderland's Universal Downgrader for Skyrim SE v1.7.104 (August 27, 2026)

Hi everyone,

I've just published an update for my "Universal Downgrader" focusing on today's update, v1.7.104.

I've added a fourth downgrade path (v1.7.99 if some of you guys need that), so now all the possible downgrades are:

  • v1.5.97 (2019)
  • v1.6.640 (September 2022)
  • v1.6.1170 (January 2024, the version before August's updates)
  • v1.7.99 (Last week update, August 20 2026)

I've also worked to improve Linux and Steam Deck support. Game folder should now be detected automatically in most cases.

Since my last post, I've also created a Creation Kit downgrader, if you need too.

An all-in-one Enhancement Pack for 007 First Light (Ultrawide, FOV, HUD, and more) | Mulderland

Hi everyone,

I’ve been working on something for 007 First Light and I wanted to share it with the community: an Enhancement Pack from my Mulderland project (if you know my previous work).

For those who don’t know it, Mulderland is a project where I create curated lists of mods, patches, and enhancements for games, with the goal of making them easier to discover, install, and configure. I mostly work on classic games (like the old Hitman titles, Resident Evil, and Dino Crisis), but sometimes modern games need some enhancements too.

I always try to make my packs as simple and accessible as possible, so everyone can use them without having to deal with complicated manual installations.

For 007 First Light specifically, the Enhancement Pack currently includes:

  • Removes letterboxing during cutscenes on ultrawide resolutions
  • Higher FOV options
  • Camera settings (distance, height)
  • Skip intro videos
  • A more immersive HUD
  • MulderConfig (see screenshot below)

MulderConfig for 007 First Light

A big part of this pack is built on the excellent work of other modders:

  • Su4enka — Higher FOV and Camera + Skip Intro mods
  • Charc0al — Immersive HUD mod

Huge thanks to them for their work and for making these improvements possible!

My contribution was creating MulderLoad (the downloader & installer) and MulderConfig, which bring everything together.

For example, there are many different FOV/camera options available on Nexus Mods, but testing and managing them manually can be a bit tedious. With MulderConfig, switching between configurations is just a checkbox away.

It also handles the ultrawide cutscene fix through automated hex editing, so you don’t have to manually edit game files or install an additional mod.

Update: Universal Downgrader from v1.11.221 (May 2026) to 4 earlier versions

Hello everyone,

Just a quick message to announce that I've updated my "Universal Downgrader" (old thread here) to work with today's Steam update of Fallout 4 (v1.11.221).

The new version can downgrade to 4 previous versions.

  • v1.10.163 (pre next gen)
  • v1.10.984 (next gen, update 2)
  • v1.11.169 (anniversary, november patch 1, 2025)
  • v1.11.191 (anniversary, december patch 2, 2025)

As before, it is :

  • compatible with all editions (base game, GOTY, anything in between)
  • compatible with all languages. That's why I call it "universal"
  • doesn't require your Steam credentials

Of cource, the installer is still open source (code here and compiled directly on Github Actions). I've also use my previous Powershell scripts (code here) to make these xdelta patches quickly ;)
