We’re about a month out from the school year starting and my son will begin kindergarten. We have not gotten any information from the school district beyond a student ID being assigned. Calling the school and the district office has not yielded any results - we can’t get any more info from anybody.

Has anyone had similar experiences, and are they able to share any options we may have? Just trying to make sure we are not missing anything important. Seems very odd to be so close to the first day of school with this little information.

I live in twin creeks by ridgeview dr and Alma rd. Where can I watch fireworks near the area with a good view? I know celebration park already had their firework event last weekend but is there any other one?? Dont wanna have to drive to another city just to watch. I dont mind mckinney if theres one not too far from 121.

I'm in Fairview for the night. I don't really know the area. I'm right by Fairview Town Center. Is there anywhere to go watch fireworks without going into a traffic nightmare? Thanks in advance.

Hello ya'll. What are your opinions about Boon Elementary School? Are there any affordable housing or apartments around that school and area? Is that area pretty safe compared to other areas? What close by hotels do you recommend for a like a week stay? Any warehouse, stocker, security, preferably Evening shift jobs there? How's the public transportation like there?

Currently living in San Diego and renting a 3br for $2700 with a sibling helping with rent. Working as a non-military contractor at the Navy Base commissary/warehouse and also Event Security from time to time. I believe that Security company has a branch an hour or so from that area. I may not have a vehicle at first, but I do have an e-bike, any strict laws on e-rides? I will likely live alone so a 1br may be enough but I may want an extra room for 2 children.

I am considering and weighing in the option in moving from CA to TX, so I could continue to provide and be there for the children, 11yr old son and 9yr old daughter. Ex is relocating there for opportunity to expand her real-estate career and Judge allowed the move with children even if Mediator sided with me and best interests for children. Upcoming Orders states I will get them during most of the Vacations/Holidays and whenever I visit there I can always care for the children with no restriction. Order also includes for ex to pay for flights, kids and even mine, so I guess that's a sweet deal. If I do decide to move, we agree that we could go back to our previous 2-2-5 parenting time 50/50 physical custody. My jobs here were so flexible so I was able to be there for children when I have them in the day, and during working nights I had help to watch them as they sleep. Will not have that for now if I move there. I may branch out to maybe other type of jobs.

I appreciate any recommendations. They already have a place in the area but children will start living there in August. I'm planning on visiting in September. I've been checking weather and it's pretty extreme compared to San Diego weather right now, sheesh. Let me know what else to expect and look out for. Thank you

Hey everyone, I’m a 28m. I have never played traditional D&D, but I played a version of it in the cyberpunk universe called cyberpunk red. My two buddies moved away to different towns for work and I was remembering how fun those sessions were. Does anyone currently have a D&D group that is looking to add another? Or a board game group in general. I’m a friendly, kind person who gets along with everyone regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, race, etc.

Been going there for years. Even when they were on the other side of Greenville. Always tasty, and consistent. Last couple of trips something’s off. Seems like different roll, meat and taste. Even the hot sauce. I know Fred recently took over running it again after the other owner passed away. Has anyone else noticed any changes?
