I was sitting at my Avantis flipping through stuff before anyone got in the room. I’m used to a few ms of screen freezes here and there. This time it froze for good. I could still flip through the banks but there was a good couple minutes with no screen response. I started playing music through my computer to see if I was still passing audio. As soon as the music started the screens unfroze.
Not really looking for help. Just throwing it out there if anyone else runs into it.

Hi, I bought this unit about a week ago.
No prior experience with type of mixer, or any type of sound hardware/software for that matter.

This has been one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. It makes me extremely happy to hear my drum set with processed sound.

Younger generations don’t know how good they have it considering the first time the band I had in my teens tried to record, we did it using one of those long and thin microphones that came with your computer hardware.

Anyways. I’m baffled as to why the unit doesn’t have an on/off switch. After using it I generally log out from the app from the home screen and the unit powers down. I can’t turn it back on unless I unplug and plug back again which is pretty inconvenient/clunky.

Do you guys just leave it on? Is it bad for any of the hardware including phantom powered mics to do so?
