CQ-20B On/Off

Hi, I bought this unit about a week ago.
No prior experience with type of mixer, or any type of sound hardware/software for that matter.

This has been one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. It makes me extremely happy to hear my drum set with processed sound.

Younger generations don’t know how good they have it considering the first time the band I had in my teens tried to record, we did it using one of those long and thin microphones that came with your computer hardware.

Anyways. I’m baffled as to why the unit doesn’t have an on/off switch. After using it I generally log out from the app from the home screen and the unit powers down. I can’t turn it back on unless I unplug and plug back again which is pretty inconvenient/clunky.

Do you guys just leave it on? Is it bad for any of the hardware including phantom powered mics to do so?

Older gamer with limited time looking for linear, story-driven Switch 1+2 games — not heavy crafting or huge open worlds

I’m 38 and I don’t have nearly as much time for gaming as I used to, so I’ve realized I really prefer games that respect my time.

I just bought a Switch 2 mainly because of Ocarina of Time but I’d like to buy a few other games that are actually a good fit for me rather than just picking from the usual “best Switch games” lists.

Favorite games I can recall off the top of my head that I’ve played in the last 15 years or so are all Uncharted games, The Last of Us, 1+2 all God of War games, Zelda games, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon Zero Dawn, Bramble: The Mountain King. I also grew up loving older Final Fantasy games and several other RPGs.

What I’m mainly looking for is linear or semi-linear, story-driven action/adventure games with strong characters, good pacing, memorable environments, and a clear sense of progression. One thing I’ve loved about the naughty dog games is how good the story is.

I’m fine with some exploration and RPG elements, but I don’t want a game where I have to spend half my time crafting, managing tons of resources/builds, clearing a gigantic map full of icons, talking to every NPC in town just to figure out where the interesting content is, or a torturous difficult game like elden ring.

I’d much rather have a focused 10–30 hour game where I’m consistently moving forward or that has an amazing story than a 100-hour sandbox.

What Switch or Switch 2 games would you recommend based on that?

Appreciate any recommendation or guidance!

Did I Get Lucky?

This past weekend my wife decided to stay home while I went buy groceries for the week. Given she wasn’t with me I decided to stop at guitar center just to take a peek as it’s 5 minutes away from the grocery store I was going to.

When I arrived to the parking lot I noticed it was 15 minutes till closing time. I was about to leave but I thought what the hell I’m already here I’ll just take a quick look.

All of a sudden I spot this on the shelves and I noticed the price tag. I was confused for a minute and then I thought maybe someone switched the paper in the plastic. I turned it around and it had the other tag and it was sealed and looped around the lug bolt.

I couldn’t believe this so I started checking online to see if there was a new model that came out or something. I noticed it was 4 minutes till closing time so I thought I’ll just buy this and figure it out later.

For some reason it has some light scratches on the inside of the shell and I wasn’t able to cross reference the serial number but I’m pretty sure I bought a Black Beauty for $150 usd.

Stop All Notifications for a Period of Time

I have yard work scheduled every week and 8 cameras around my property. Is there a way to pause my notifications on all cameras at once for a period of time? Can’t find an easy way to do this and turning 8 cameras off and on individually is not really convenient.

I absolutely do not trust having my photos backed up in google photos. I do however want to create an album for my kitchen display. I’ve given google photos limited access to a fee photos but these are not showing as an option to upload to an album. Backup does not work unless I give the app full access. Has anyone encountered this issue?
