We were planning a trip around * the first week of July * , but the monsoon periods seems to be concern. Are the roads gonna be risky around that time? Would we not be able to experience the clear views of mountains? The best we can do is to shift it to late June. What should be the best time slot, late June or Early July. We will be exploring around Almora and Kausani in general. Please guide a soul based on your experience.

My husband and I are planning to visit Almora on 26th of May for 2 days. We are planning to drive down there. Are the roads decent to drive? My husband doesn't have much experience of driving in the hills. He has driven to Bhimtal though, in general he is a good driver. We have XUV 700. Also what all places should we cover? Stay option recommendations are welcomed too. Thanks.
