Aipan Wedding Umbrella — a traditional Uttarakhand touch for the groom’s entry

Sharing a handmade Aipan Wedding Umbrella inspired by the traditional Aipan art of Uttarakhand.
This type of umbrella is traditionally used as part of the groom’s wedding entry and adds a distinct Pahadi touch to the celebration.
Handmade in Uttarakhand.

Looking for football players in Almora

I am a medical officer and I recently moved to Almora(RTO Office). I used to play football in college. I passed from college about 4-5 months ago now I want to continue playing football. I need information about active players of any age. I am not very good but I live the game. I am not a fat ass guy trying to do cardio so I'll fit in good.

Tried making a Shree Krishna Aipan frame for the first time — along with Adiyogi & Ganesha [OC]

Made these three Aipan artworks recently — Shree Krishna, Adiyogi and Ganesha.
The Shree Krishna design was made for an order, and it was actually my first time creating Krishna in Aipan style. I wasn’t sure how the final composition would turn out, but I’m quite happy with how the artwork came together.
Trying to explore how traditional Uttarakhand Aipan patterns can be used with different spiritual and cultural themes while keeping the handmade character intact.
Which one do you like the most — Krishna, Adiyogi or Ganesha?

The Almora Circle is growing. 13 members already. anyone else interested in joining?

A little update on The Almora Circle

A few days ago, I posted here about starting a small hangout community in Almora for people who want to meet new people, make friends and occasionally get together offline.

We're now 13 people in the community, which is honestly more than I expected when we started.

The idea is still pretty simple. No formal organisation or anything complicated. Just a group of people from Almora and nearby areas who are interested in:

Chai/coffee meetups

Casual conversations and making new friends

Exploring cafés and local places

Short walks, hikes or day outings

Photography, food, movies, etc.

Occasionally just meeting up and hanging out

We're also looking at planning our first meetup soon. Kasar Devi is currently my first preference, but the location can be changed based on what works for most people.

If you're from Almora or nearby and this sounds like something you'd enjoy, you're welcome to join. You don't need to know anyone already in the group.

If interested, comment here or DM me, and I'll share the details.

Would be nice to have a few more people before we plan the first meetup. :)

SSJU BBA , chill attendance?

I have health issues, not doing any distance college but can't go beyond 50% requirement either. Is SSJU almora a good place for low attendance bba? I heard it's easy as fuck for BCA atleast but don't know about BBA specifically.

Any place I can talk to bba students there rn too?
