helping my gf find a new altar

my gf and i just bought a home and its smaller than what we had before and lacks storage space, she wants to setup a new altar because we cant accommodate what she had before so she is looking for a small like nighstand type thing and she is like part witch but leans way more towards Norse mythology. she aslo has a ton of dried herbs in jars and crystals and waht not. i suggested getting a bookcase to store those on but she wants something that closes so if anyone could help me potentially find something for her it would be greatly appreciated

Minoan Brotherhood Shrine

This is a picture from our Minoan Brotherhood shrine at Alsos Ampelos in Central Florida. The Minoan Brotherhood is a mostly gay and bi men's initiatory tradition of the Craft celebrating Life and Magic in a primarily Cretan context.

My finished altar in the Golden Dawn style. Ready for consecration rituals

This altar represents over a year of slow steady work. It’s not perfect but I can honestly say I did my best, and I’m proud of it. Everything is hand made wherever possible.

Getting ready for consecration rituals which will probably also take me a while. Does anyone have suggestions for these rituals? I have LBRP and BRH memorized, working on note cards for Opening and Closing by Watchtower.

Our Kouzen Group Lamp Table for Service and Community

I wanted to share our Group Lamp altar/table that we prepared for service. Every part of it was placed with intention — the colors, the foods, the candles, the veves and cloths, the tools, the offerings, and the spirits we are honoring through community and prayer.

We included fresh fruits and vegetables, breads and cakes, flowers, drinks, candles, fabrics, and items connected to the lwa and to the people gathered around this work. The table reflects both reverence and hospitality: feeding the spirits, feeding the community, and creating space for prayer, protection, and connection.

I especially love how alive this setup feels with all the color and movement — the blue cloths, bandanas, straw work, handmade pieces, and the mixture of sacred and everyday items together in one space. To me, that balance is part of the beauty of Vodou: spirit and daily life are not separated.

Respect to all who serve with sincerity. Bondye beni nou. 🕯️🇭🇹
