My shrine to Confucius, Sage of Sages and Teacher for All Ages

I use it for ritual offerings, prayer, meditation, and consulting the Yijing.

Found this Elder Things in the library book-drop

I'm a children's librarian, and frequently find little treasure left behind in kids' returned books. I'm not sure what the inspiration behind this creature was, but it reminds me strikingly of the Elder Things from The Mountains of Madness. Maybe it's a sign from the Great Old Ones?

Need advice on how to get my money back from a tailor

I ordered a suit a while back from a local tailor for my wedding, but have been very unsatisfied with the customer service. The owner was very pushy during the initial sale and their system is incredibly disorganized. The suit I ordered had to be shipped in from a warehouse, which took twice as long as they said it would, and when I went in for my fitting, it was at least two sizes too small, so they had to order another one. I'm tired to dealing with them, and called to ask for a refund. Even though I paid with a credit card, I was told that I had to come in they will write me a check, but without the sales tax on the suit they ordered.

I feel like I should get a full refund, since they haven't even altered the suit yet, and the idea that they need to write me a check, rather than simply refund the credit card purchase, seems fishy to me. Can anyone weigh in how legit this situation is, or share any advice for how I might get all my money back? Should I not even go through the tailor at all and ask for chargeback from my credit card instead?

This is more about the business side of tailoring than the actual sewing work, but I'm hoping someone here can still help me out.

Made this flag game for a STEM library event I'm running this weekend

Patrons get one minute to place as many flags as they can to win a prize. They also get to study a world map "cheat sheet" to improve their chances, and maybe learn something, too!
