Joining the team, sorry for taking away your slots :D

Joining the team, sorry for taking away your slots :D

On a serious note...I've been on the waiting list for about nine months; last week, I finally got invited to proceed with the signing-up process. I completed the tasks this weekend, I was wondering how long, realistically to get started and do my first job?

The right to work verification has already taken more than 2 business days excluding the weekend…so the ETA given doesn't provide a definitive answer anymore.

I haven't uploaded a selfie yet, because I wasn't feeling it, is possible this is delaying the other tasks?

How is Liverpool and its surroundings looking these days, are there slots?

Thanks.

Why the difference in pay?

So, it’s probably been asked loads.

Why is there is such a difference in pay between the different depots? I can see all the ones in my area and the difference in rates is shocking

No blocks at DRH1?

This week I have really struggled to get blocks is it just me? or is it a quiet week?

I can usually get blocks all week with ease at the usual drop times but I have only seen the odd 3.5hr (which I refuse to do that’s another story!)

I’m seeing blocks for other depots so I’m not hour capped. Can anyone shed some light?

Got Lucky Today

I picked up a 2.5 from DXM5 for £46.50, and when the guy brought the cart out it was just 2 envelopes in a bag, and when I scanned it, it showed up as a 1.5

The two drops were right next to each other and only 20miles from the station, and I live in between the station and the delivery location, so I was wrapped up and finished within 50 minutes.

Most of the time i get around 20-25 packages in the same location, so this was a result.

I got hired by a company, and they're having me deliver Flex - UK edition

There is a thread with the same name from last year in the US flex sub.

Anyway, saw an ad for 15 pounds/hour Saturday and 16 Sunday. Van provided by them, have to use my phone.

They sent me a link to amazon on-boarding and it turns out to be amazon flex. The vans provided are amazon as well. self-employed.

So what is this ? An agency getting paid for my work while not even having me employed ?

DBH3 Lovely Routing

I had these two routes one last week and one today. It's about 40 minute drive between the groups.

The first picture was 3.5 hours scanned in as 2.5 hours and took 2.75 hours so very fair.

The second picture one was 3 hours and scanned as 3 hours. It took nearly 25 minutes to load as the depot was slow so I went a bit slower and got a return and it took 30 minutes longer than predicted. Would have been fine if the depot was more organised at the start.

Main thing I'm confused is why the AI actually makes these routes between the groups you drive through a few villages which will have other drivers going there and it would make more sense to group them better together.

I also added the return box. Nearly full and people have now decided to just leave things outside even though some of them would fit inside.

Incomplete deliveries for not contacting customer outside of allowed hours?

Need some advice. Got dinged 6 times in last two weeks.
One delivering at 7am on a Sunday one late weekday night.

Apartment blocks can’t contact customer before 8am and post 8pm. Can’t get in as no answer.

Appealed got rejected both to support and Jeff.

What is the correct process?

How Cooked am I about to be

broke down mid delivery (oil warning popped up wasn’t going to risk my car) pressed end route in app because I thought that’s how we’re meant to do it… 16 undelivered parcels and 1 return because the customer decided not to have it delivered while i was out. How bad is this going to hit me?

2hour blocks now 1.5hr at UUK1 fresh

Has anyone noticed that amazon are now aggresively offering 1.5hr fresh blocks as opposed to 2hr blocks at Bromley by bow UUk1 site.Did one 1.5 a couple of days back and it was basically a 2hr block dressed as 1.5hr.You log in now and all you get are 1.5hr blocks .With current fuel prices they are just not worth it

“15 minutes early myth”

I arrive 15 minutes early (18:45) and end up not getting my route until 19:05 anyway then didn’t leave until 19:16. If you’re going to ask people to come early, make sure they can at least be out the gate and on the way to the first drop on time…

Options with insurance H&R

Just got off the waiting list and while waiting for the onboarding I've found my current insurance policy doesn't allow H&R even through a third-party top up. Is the only option to cancel the current policy I have and buy a new one or could I chance it by getting top up insurance anyway with my current policy?

Returning to Flex - what should I expect?

Hi all,

I previously did Flex for some time up until c. July 2025. I kept my Inshur policy active until March 2026 but then cancelled as my car died (RIP!).

I’m now in a new (to me) car and am returning to Flex.

What should I expect? Are there any differences between now and July last year? I have noticed immediately that the pay seems to have been increased.

If it helps, I’m in the london region, would predominantly be driving from Barking, Bromley-by-Bow, Canning Town, Stratford and maybe occasionally some of the depots in SE London (Dartford, Welling).

Insurance

Hi there peeps!

Hope your all well.

Just had a quick question. Is there anyone that has or knows if someone who has a blackbox got accepted for INSHUR insurance provided by Amazon Flex
