AVD Concern

I had an AVD and it looked questionable whether the recipient was 18 or not. Therefore I asked for ID which was already in his hand and he passed it to me. It had his photo, name, date of birth, and other info on the ID. The DOB made him 18 by a couple of months. So I put in all the info and gave him the parcel. Problem is I know this sounds bad and possibly stupid but I was so focused on checking the date of birth and name etc that I'm questioning whether it was a valid form of ID as it wasn't a driving licence or passport. Should I be worried? Would this still result in a termination even though I asked for ID checked the DOB etc?

Help pls !

Is there anyway of appealing deactivation or any advise to help ?

I pick up from Morrison early this week in my brothers car as my car was in garage and one of the people who check license and app refuse my route because the car I was in was smaller car than the car in the app setting

I put back all parcel and email Amazon. Done blocks in my car after getting it back but I got email from Amazon today deactivate for “terms of service violation”. Is there any point trying to get my account back or is wrong car instant deactivation? Did anyone else get this checks in Liverpool This week?

DINGS!

This is becoming ridiculous now.

3 times on an evening block I have been sent to a business or a school that is of course closed.

And of course I get 3 dings in a row.

I know they don’t mean much but they add up and can ultimately get you deactivated.

I enjoy this gig it’s been a great way to top up my salary and pay for holidays ect.

This stuff just really gets to me. Having to then email support to remove these dings when the parcel should never have been given to me on the first place!

Stinker!

Rare that I come online to complain, try to take the rough with the smooth and all that but f**k me!! Nearly dropped my phone when I saw 9 stops cause I've never been given any more than 6 (whether by luck or anything else.)

Then proceeded to do the Tour de f**kingnowhere down single track lanes for the best part of 2 hours. Pictured is the lane they wanted me to drive a Toyota Aygo down!! Not even the roughest bit. Walked about half a mile with 5 heavy bags cause it was preferable to driving 25 mins back to the shop 🤣

Finished at 4:20 despite arriving 15 minutes early as I always do. I either get my payment adjusted or I get a ding for the late delivery. Let's see how this goes 👀

Customers are clowns

I’ve delivered thousands of parcels and fresh bags but never have I delivered something that was damaged. How sad do you have to be to straight up lie for a refund 🤣

Joke of a block

Just had a 3:30 block from DLS2… I got Roundhay, currently having a festival at the park, all the roads were closed off 16 out of the 44 parcels couldn’t deliver due to the closures and no parking within 2 mile radius and was told by support it’s going to effect my standings because I cannot deliver! I don’t understand how they can’t do their research and see about these closures!

ID verify

I handed a parcel that requested ID check shutout physical id. Customer had only a picture but he looked old enough. What are the chances to be terminated?

2.5hr route

I'm never doing them again! I had one and was sent to the city center, multiple lockers. No parking. Construction on going. Blocked roads where amazon's directing me. Multiple apartments. I'd rather do fresh late evening.

I'm so pissed

Parcel Cancelled During Block

Has anyone else ever experienced this?

First time it’s ever happened to me. Noticed a red dot next to one of the stops after about 6 stops in. Just a little bit annoying having to return to the depot but is what it is I guess.

Does anyone know if Amazon is the only delivery company that allows you to cancel a parcel mid route?

What bots do you guys use seriously, I’m online, I have my availability on, and I stay in areas where I think there should be demand -but I either get nothing or it feels like other drivers are getting the offers way before I even see anything.🥺
