Members of Anette's live band, Filipe Duarte (bass and vocals), Sanzio Rocha (guitar), and Kiko Lopes (drums), hosted a YouTube livestream with an administrator of an Anette fan club in Brazil. Here are some interesting points that were discussed:

• Anette and the guys are preparing a total of 21 songs to perform throughout the European tour.
• Of those 21 songs, five are from Anette's solo material.
• A major rehearsal will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark, on July 23, two days before the Kaaos Festival in Finland. That is where Anette will decide which songs make the final setlist.
• Anette wants more variety in the setlist choices this time around, potentially swapping a song or two each night (also to preserve her voice when necessary).
• The three orchestral shows in Brazil will feature a fixed setlist.
• There have been no discussions about professionally recording any of the concerts in Europe or South America so far, though the possibility hasn't been ruled out.
• Anette has no intention of performing songs from before her time in Nightwish (songs from the Tarja era).
• I asked if there was a chance for Escapist or Song of Myself to be played at the orchestral shows. Filipe said one of the two will be played but didn't confirm which one.
• Kiko dropped a spoiler that his new favorite song is I Want My Tears Back (it will likely be included in the European tour).
• They were already fans of Anette and Nightwish before receiving the invitation to perform with her, and they were thrilled about the opportunity.
• They all expressed surprise at how kind, humble, and warm Anette is with everyone. She frequently shares stories about her career while showing an equal interest in listening to them and getting to know them better.
• They all reported having an incredible tour with her in South America last year, noting that all expectations were exceeded.
• Anette received the invitation to the Kaaos Festival in Finland just hours before the show in Buenos Aires last year and showed the e-mail to the guys backstage. She stated that she would only accept the festival gig if they played along her.
• For years, the concert promoter in Brazil repeatedly invited Anette to return to live touring, until she finally accepted his invitation in 2025.
• There are plans for December 2026 that cannot yet be revealed, and possibly more tours will follow in 2027.
• For now, the plan is to continue touring with Nightwish material; there are no plans for tours featuring entirely solo material.

I was excited when Anette announced this tour and even the possibility of furthering my autograph collection.

But I was skeptical over the obscure Brazilian promoter and apparently, many people afterwards shared my view that the tour appears to be kinda sketchy.

There’s a concert I’d attend next month and don’t have my ticket yet. I want to meet Anette too.
