Hi! Some time ago, I shared some playlists from my YouTube channel featuring Evanescence-related content. Now, I am sharing them again with a massive update that includes their discography, videography, media archive, and live performances (rare, proshot, TV footage), all organized in chronological order. The material also extends to Amy's solo work (including her musical collaborations).

The discography playlists are also available on Spotify for those who prefer that platform. And all of their live/video albums are also available in full.

The media archive playlist for Evanescence (which includes interviews, press conferences, TV appearances, fan meetings, etc) also extends to all current and former band members, regardless of the period during which they were (or were no longer) involved with the band. This particular playlist contains over 1,000 videos, so I recommend viewing it on a desktop for a better experience.

For the content classified as "rare" in the live performances playlists, I limited the selection to bootlegs and recordings made up to December 31, 2005. Much of this material was tucked away in the hidden corners of YouTube, and I hope these playlists make it more accessible to fans.

The material also extends to the solo work of Tuomas, Tarja, Anette, and Floor (including their various projects and musical collaborations).

The media archive playlist for Nightwish (which includes interviews, press conferences, TV appearances, fan meetings, etc) also extends to all current and former band members, regardless of the period during which they were (or were no longer) involved with the band. This particular playlist contains over 2,000 videos, so I recommend viewing it on a desktop for a better experience.

For the content classified as "rare" in the live performances playlists, I limited the selection to bootlegs and recordings made up to December 31, 2005, with the exception of Floor's playlist, which extends to December 31, 2007 (thereby covering her entire tenure with After Forever and various obscure recordings of the band with her). During this process, I was also able to gather many invaluable—and possibly little-known—recordings from the old Nightwish era with Tarja that deserve to be properly highlighted. Much of this material was tucked away in the hidden corners of YouTube, and I hope these playlists make it more accessible to fans.

Congratulations to Floor and Nightwish on their enduring and stellar partnership of 14 years. And here's to their fourth album together!

I got a double dose of Marko with both Nightwish and Tarja, and managed to get a photo with Anette and an autograph on my Dark Passion Play CD. All the concerts were absolutely magical. ❤️

I just got home from São Paulo and I am so happy I had the chance to see Anette live with an orchestra and choir last Saturday. It was an incredible experience!

First off, I have to say the venue chosen for the concert couldn't have been better. It's a small-to-medium-sized space, super cozy and with great acoustics. The atmosphere was very relaxed, and the audience was surprisingly diverse, ranging from children to the elderly. The tour promoter also announced hours beforehand that the show would be professionally recorded in both audio and video, though the purpose isn't known yet. Magistry, a Brazilian band that describes itself as "alchemical metal", delivered a solid opening set. Lead singer Lya Seffrin performed Sahara with Anette on last year's tour, and this year she was one of the voices in the choir. What a talented vocalist she is!

Anette's concert began shortly after with a beautiful orchestral version of Taikatalvi, followed immediately by Storytime. I have to admit I was a bit unsure about the orchestral sound based on videos I'd seen of the first show in Belo Horizonte, but hearing it live was a completely different experience; the orchestra and choir sounded great, immersive, and very faithful to the studio versions, while still maintaining that organic live feel. 7 Days to the Wolves and Ghost River followed, showcasing her great chemistry with bassist Filipe Duarte during duets and her synchronized headbanging with guitarist Sanzio Rocha.

Song of Myself, Amaranth, and Rest Calm came next, with the audience actively clapping along and—naturally—singing loudly during Amaranth, a moment when everyone also stood up at Anette's request. For that matter, I think many people were a bit shy about singing too loudly or moving around much, given that it was a seated show with a more intimate atmosphere than typical metal concerts. Scaretale capped off the run of great songs and was a highlight of the show for me; it sounded absolutely phenomenal with the orchestra and choir, brilliantly capturing the magic of the Imaginaerum album and film.

Then it was time for the band to sit down on stage as well, and they launched into some mellower tracks, such as the solo song Like a Show Inside My Head (which, unfortunately, most of the audience didn't know well enough to sing along to), the beautiful Turn Loose the Mermaids, and the previously unperformed The Islander—marking only the second time Anette had played it as a solo artist. Anette was pleasantly surprised when the entire venue lit up with lights during the chorus of The Islander, creating a truly beautiful moment in the show.

For the show's final stretch, Anette saved The Poet and the Pendulum (which, interestingly, didn't include the spoken-word narration mentioning Tuomas's name), Meadows of Heaven—complete with the "pastora" meme moment—and Last Ride of the Day, during which some fans decided to move to the front of the stage to join in the fun. For the final song, I had hoped she would sing Escapist, but unfortunately, that didn't happen. She mentioned she was fulfilling a request from a Brazilian fan club that had asked them to play Rapture. It was a really nice gesture on her part, so I didn't mind the omission of Escapist.

At the end of the show, Anette greeted fans at the front of the stage; she stayed there for about 15 minutes straight, showing exactly why she is one of the nicest and kindest people in this music scene. I managed to get a photo with her, and she autographed my copy of the Dark Passion Play CD—which, as Anette herself noted on stage, was celebrating its 19th anniversary that very day. I told her how special she and her music are to me and that she would always be welcome in Brazil. She thanked me for all the support and said she loves being with us. It's no wonder she was even gifted with her own "Brazilian ID card" while on stage. It is also worth noting that Italian singer Fabio Lione (ex-Rhapsody of Fire, ex-Angra) was also at the show, and I managed to have a quick chat with him and take a photo as well. Apparently, he and Anette are working on something together for the future, which I suspect is a co-headline full orchestral tour in Europe in 2027. Fingers crossed!

Anette, thank you for being who you are! That was yet another one of those magical and rewarding days, and meeting you in person was a dream come true. Shine and lift you head high, just as you've always done! ❤️

Floor posted an enigmatic video on social media with the date October 2nd.

The new issue of Metal Hammer will feature a lengthy interview with Tuomas about the band's 30th anniversary. Floor also commented with emojis on the social media post and reposted it to her Instagram, which possibly indicates that everything is fine between them. The magazine is already available for sale.
