Angel thought it was all a lie.

Every moment and every relationship he built in the hotel could have been nothing more than Vox’s manipulation. He thought he found a place of genuine safety with people he cared for only for all to possibly not be true.

At least that’s how I interpret this scene.

Weird question: Do y'all think Angel would comfort a lost child?

Viv said in the past that Angel has a soft spot for children in canon, he would still swear and make jokes (not at them, just in general.) but would tone it down a bit more.

We did see Angel interact with infant imps in Speedrun to Redemption, but that's about it. Plus infants aren't really sapient enough to count imo

I think he would try to help a child find their parents. But that's just me, what do y'all think?

dumb question but why does it matter if it’s Angels fault or not? He doesn’t deserve to be treated like a sex slave by Val. Nobody deserves that.

Whatever decisions he made that led him to this situation are ultimately irrelevant. What matters is him getting out and healing.
