r/AnglicanOrdinariate

Hi All,

I look after www.dailyoffice.online for OLSC, which is, as you may know, the website for praying the Office according to *Divine Worship: Daily Office (Commonwealth Edition), from the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of the Southern Cross. It's had several updates lately, so here's what it offers now.

• Mattins, Evensong and Compline: each office laid out in full, in order
• New: Compline, which can also follow straight on from Evensong
• New: Non-biblical readings from the OLW customary where available after the third collect (unique to DO.o)
• Built-in calendar (With recent corrections and updates): Sundays, feasts and memorials on the Ordinariate calendar
• Outranked offices: still able to be selected when a feast takes the day
• Coverdale psalter, appointed by the day of the month (New: which now has a selectable page if you want to read a particular Psalm).
• Lessons in full (RSV-2CE), with no looking up references (unique to DO.o) (also fixed for errors from the transcription process).
• Choice of canticles: Te Deum, Benedicite and the Daily Canticles
• Commons for memorials: supplementary texts filled in for you (such as the hymns)
• Lay or priest officiant: switch the prayers to suit who's leading
• Optional introduction: include it or skip straight in
• Office hymns with tunes: press play and sing along (unique to DO.o)
• Seasonal Marian anthem at the close
• Office of the Dead
• New: The Litany
• The Angelus
• New: Install as an app from the menu, on phone or computer
• New: Works offline
• Dark mode
• Adjustable text size
• (Best of all) Free, no sign-up
