Issues with Eastern Catholic freinds

This is by no means a critique of all Eastern(mostly Byzantine) Catholics. However a fair few of them online and 1 or 2 at my parish seem way more orthodox sympathetic and bad mouth Roman Catholics almost every chance they get. Things like arguing papal supremacy was a later invention, saying to go to an orthodox church for Sunday obligation instead of a Roman one if no EC churches are near.

I love my parish most of the time, but these issues make it really hard alot if the time. Has anyone else had these kinds of issues?

Apology

I apologize if any of my recent posts have offended anyone. I know i post a fair bit about issues i have at my Ruthinian parish, the thing that hurts the most about my frustration is I love this parish.

My freinds and the priest have helped me through some tough times. But as my glair says I grew up Roman so when people say things like oh papal supremacy came later" or attributing something they dont like to Roman Catholics when it has nothing to do with them.

Again I apologize if I have offended anyone and in all honesty I made it sound like it was my whole parish when it was just one or two people. Lord Jesus Christ son of God have mercy on me a sinner.

Morovian church

Has zoomer made any content on the Morovian church? I couldn't find any videos were he mentions them. To me they fit into the mainline church mold.

Prayer request

I honestly don't know why I am putting this in here but please pray for me and my family. My mother and I had a big fight yesterday were I told her how I felt hurt by some of the things her and my fat h er did and said in my childhood and it devolved into a pretty big fight were I said I hate my life and that I would stop going to church.

I know I post alot about having issues with the church but I have alot of wounds about much time my parents spent doing church activities compared to spending time with us kids, how little I was catechised as a kid, and how angry many adults were when I was growing up.

Much of this has just come to a head recently and with the issues I have at my parish I honestly just want nothing to do with the church anymore. I told my mom I'm done with the church, for the aforementioned reasons.

Again I honestly don't know why I'm posting this here, maybe I just needed to process things.

Attitude of Superiority

I go to a ruthinian parish and have a few friends who act like they are superior to Roman Catholics in several ways. I've heard them mock Roman Catholic parishes for having bad liturgy, when fasting is brought up they talk about how much more rigorous Eastern fasting is, and just a general disdain for average Roman Catholics.

I'm getting really tired of it and I've gotten more bullish on pushing back on some of these critisms and its honestly turned me off to this particular parish even though 80% of the time its great. For context I grew up Roman and I love the latin tradition.

I know this mentality is common amongst every group of people in the world but I just hate it when it interferes with my faith.

Zoomer was right

I don't like the turn much of his content has taken (my lair probably gives it away) but I think RZ was prophetic in how talked about schematic groups in protestantism noylt solving any issues.

They're is a methodist pastor named Jeffery Rickman who is in the GMC who said that he sees many of the same issues in that church as they're were in the umc. A kind of consumerism mindset about Christianity, squishy on much of the doctrine.

A freind of mine at church said that in the acna women's ordinariation is kind of like the last scene in the birds were the protagonists think they got away but there is a small bird in the car. I've also heard of problems in the pca.

Lack of charity

Yesterday I saw a post on this sub that made me really sad at the state of gen z Catholics. Someone pointed out how about 70% of the you g Catholics they know are single and never married. The thread quickly devolved into people finger pointing. Both men and women blaming each other for the issues of today and not taking any accountability for they're own issues. Why has the dating world lacked so much charity on both men and women for so long?

Secondary issues

Not sure if this is the right flair but I have a general question. I was watching a video from Anglican unscripted episode 966 and one of the hosts George Conger said something I find quite peculiar. He said that women's ordinariation was a secondary issue and it's not an issue in his particular episcopal parish, so he shouldn't worry about it.

My question is how is the a mentality you can have? For a starters you could say the same about other issues ie abortion or lgbt issues. " Well its not an issue in my jurisdiction so I'm not gonna worry about it". Also can someone explain to me how women's orders is a secondary issue?
