[FOR HIRE] 2D/3D Animator — Ads, Game Cinematics & Movie-Style Trailers | 3 Years Exp | Starting at $200

Hey all, I'm putting together quick-turnaround animation work for clients who need something polished without the agency wait time or agency price tag.
What I do: commercial/ad animation, game trailers and cinematics, movie-style trailer cuts, motion graphics. 3 years of experience, worked across ad campaigns, indie game projects, and trailer-style edits. Portfolio has a mix of all three so you can see range, not just one style.
Turnaround: most projects done in 3-5 days depending on scope. If you need something fast for a launch, pitch, or deadline, that's exactly the kind of job I'm best at.
Pricing: starts at $200 for shorter motion graphics/ad pieces, scales up from there depending on length, complexity, and whether it's a full trailer cut or game cinematic. Happy to quote once I see your brief.
Drop a comment or DM with what you need and I'll get back with a quote and timeline same day.

[PAID] Looking for a composer who knows modal jazz for a retro-noir game

Hey everyone,

We are a small dev team working on a game called The Money Man. It is a gritty, 1970s-style retro-future noir game where you play as a desk worker verifying counterfeit cash for a crime family.

You can read more about the game here: https://fenyxdigital.ca/the-money-man

The game relies heavily on its atmosphere, and we need a composer who can build a dynamic, layered ambient score that changes over a 30-day narrative arc.

**What we are looking for:**

  1. **Modal jazz at the root.** This is the biggest requirement. We do not want jazz as background decoration; it needs to be the DNA of the soundtrack. We want that open, unresolved, searching feeling where the music never fully lands on a final chord.

  2. **Analogue vs digital.** Mixing live, raw instruments (bass, piano, trumpet) with subtle, creeping synthesizer textures.

  3. **It needs to evolve.** The score starts out claustrophobic and earthbound, then gradually opens up with wider synth textures as the story shifts after the first 10 days.

  4. **Restraint.** We care a lot about space and silence. A few well-placed notes should do more heavy lifting than a big, busy arrangement.

**What to avoid:**

* No generic mafia/crime orchestral music or brass stings.

* No clean, digital sci-fi blips or sweeping space pads.

* No direct Cowboy Bebop / Yoko Kanno imitations. We love the vibe, but we want our own sound.

* No overly sentimental or sappy melodies. The mood should feel heavy and compressed.

We have a full music direction document ready to share once we connect and look through portfolios.

**Project Details:**

* Scope: Evolving ambient/layered tracks for a few core locations.

* Status: In active development.

Drop me a DM with a link to your portfolio or reel. We specifically want to hear any modal jazz, gritty ambient, or interactive/layered music you've done. Please include your typical rates.

Thanks!

[HIRING] Seeking 2D animator for skeleton animations, hand-drawn sequences and combat FX

Hi there! My name is Garrett and I'm trying to get a passion project off the ground in the form of a 2D Point-and-click adventure with caravan mechanics and turn-based combat.

The project is entirely 2D and, in effect, is a giant UI. However it will be lavishly illustrated with dynamic, layered backgrounds, complex writing, and an involved resource management system. We've spent the last four months focused on worldbuilding, concept art, and the GDD.

We need an animator to join the team and provide skeleton animations for complex, mechanical character designs. These animations will be used in point-and-click exploration sections but also turn-based combat sections, which will be similar visually to games like Darkest Dungeon.

I will never ask anyone to work for free, but please know that at this stage it is entirely funded out-of-pocket and our budget is razor thin. Our target is building a proof-of-concept prototype which we can use to secure a funding source (Kickstarter or a publisher), at which point a more reasonable compensation can be discussed. To that end, as we work through the prototype, timelines are super loose and we respect that you're likely to have other obligations.

If you're interested, please contact me with your work background, portfolio, and comfort level with complex UIs. Also, if you're a fan of Bionicle - huge plus!
