Best quote I've read so far in Four Steps to Revival
Without the Spirit, the Bible is just a book. — Four Steps to Revival

"Its far more imp to know What your Dream is than to know How it will come to be."
I came across this line while reading The Salesman and The Farmer by J. Logan Arnold, and it stuck with me more than I expected. I dont think it means planning doesn't matter. I took it more as a reminder that direction has to come first. A lot of people stay busy, make plans, and keep moving, but still aren't fully clear on what they are actually working toward.
“He made you. This means you are NOT a mistake!”
One of my friend suggested me a book Unshakeable Teens by Mike Craig & Rachael Stanley recently, and this line really stayed with me. It’s written for teens, but honestly, I think a lot of adults need this reminder too.
The book talks about faith, identity, God’s love, and learning to stay steady when life feels confusing or heavy. What I liked most is that it doesn’t try too hard to sound deep. It just says things simply, and sometimes that’s exactly what makes a line hit harder.

I picked up The Magic Fingers for my cousin's son a few weeks ago because he was starting to get interested in reading on his own. I honestly thought it would just be another children's book we'd read once and forget about.
What surprised me was that he kept referring back to the characters. The idea of each finger representing a different trait made it really easy for him to remember. A few days later he was actually talking about being honest like the Pointer Finger and helping others like the Tall Man.
I've read plenty of kids' books that are entertaining, but not many where the lesson actually sticks afterward. Curious if other parents have found books that teach values in a way kids genuinely remember?

Lately I’ve realized that spiritual distance usually doesn’t happen all at once. It’s small things. Less prayer, less reflection, more distractions, more noise, and eventually you wake up feeling disconnected without even knowing when it happened. That’s honestly why Four Steps to Revival hit me harder than I expected.
It didn’t feel like one of those books trying too hard to motivate or preach. It felt more like a quiet reminder that faith can slowly become routine if you stop protecting it. One line that really stayed with me was: “If you want something different, you will have to do something different. And if you do nothing, nothing will happen.”
The whole book kept bringing me back to the idea that revival is personal before it’s public. It starts with honesty.
