Officer who used Flock cameras to falsely accuse Denver woman of theft will face unspecified disciplinary action

A Columbine Valley police officer who used surveillance from AI-powered license plate readers to wrongly accuse a Denver woman of stealing a $25 package will be disciplined, town officials said.

Since Sgt. Jamie Milliman’s false accusation, which sparked outrage over the department’s use of Flock cameras, the town said in a statement that it will work “to ensure that our citizens continue to have faith in our officers and department” and that the officer will receive “appropriate disciplinary action.” But the town did not reveal what discipline the officer faces and did not return emails or a voicemail from The Colorado Sun. 

“We believe in maintaining transparency and will continue to protect and serve the communities of Columbine Valley and Bow Mar with professionalism and integrity,” Columbine Valley town administrator J.D. McCrumb said in a statement issued Tuesday. 

Public records requests from The Sun for documents detailing the disciplinary action have not been fulfilled. Emails and phone calls to Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office records department, which handles Columbine Valley Police Department’s records requests, were also not returned. 

When Milliman arrived on Chrisanna Elser’s doorstep in late September, with a summons in hand, he told Elser he had “no doubt” after footage from the Flock camera in the neighboring town of Bow Mar, along with doorbell camera footage, captured her stealing a package from a porch.

Das ist der Keller der Identitären im 5. Wiener Gemeindebezirk. Dieser wurde von LPD Wien und "Gruppe Sofortmaßnahmen" geprüft. Auslöser waren zahlreiche Beschwerden von Anrainern wegen Lärm, Menschenansammlungen und Hinweisen auf illegale Boxkämpfe. Vor Ort wurden unter anderem Gitter gefunden, die laut Behörden vermutlich für einen Boxkäfig verwendet wurden.

Der Keller gilt seit Jahren als Treffpunkt der Identitären. Dort finden laut Recherchen Clubabende, Boxtrainings, Vorträge und die Vorbereitung von Aufmärschen statt. Besonders brisant: Erst vor wenigen Wochen kam es direkt vor dem Lokal zu einem gewalttätigen Übergriff. Ein Journalist, der sich für eine Recherche eingeschleust hatte, berichtet, dass Teilnehmer im Keller von einer Prügelei vor der Tür erzählt hätten. Laut seiner Darstellung soll Identitären-Sprecher Yannick Wagemann anschließend gesagt haben: "Ich sage dir, was passiert ist: Nichts ist passiert." Währenddessen soll Martin Sellner den Keller verschlossen haben.

Die Anrainer berichten seit Jahren von Einschüchterungen, regelmäßigen Polizeieinsätzen und einer massiven Belastung durch das Lokal. Trotzdem waren die rechtlichen Möglichkeiten bisher offenbar begrenzt.

Was mich ehrlich wundert: Warum ist dieser Keller seit Jahren ein bekannter Treffpunkt der rechtsextremen Szene und erst jetzt kommt es zu einer größeren Kontrolle? Es wurden nun schon mutmaßlich mehrere Menschen von Identitären verletzt, die dort trainiert haben.

Sarina Esmailzadeh was a 16-year-old Iranian YouTuber whose life was cut short after she suffered repeated blows to the head inflicted by agents of the Islamic Republic's repressive forces—including members of the Basij militia—while participating in the "Woman, Life, Freedom" feminist movement protests in the city of Karaj on September 23, 2022.

The movement emerged following the death of 22-year-old Kurdish woman Jina Mahsa Amini, who died in the custody of the Morality Police after being detained for allegedly wearing the mandatory Islamic headscarf "improperly" in public in Tehran in September 2022.

According to the organization Iran Human Rights, Sarina was one of 551 people who lost their lives during the crackdown on the protests. The Basij is a paramilitary militia subordinate to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), widely used by the Shiite regime to suppress popular demonstrations and combat dissent.

Sarina Esmailzadeh, born on July 2, 2006, would have turned 20 today had she been alive. Once again, the Islamic Republic has cut short the dreams and lives of Iran's children.

‎ En Argentina los fascistas están cada vez más cerca del poder, Victoria Villaruel, actual vicepresidenta de Argentina es hija de un militar imputado por crímenes a lesa humanidad. En el 2005 participó en una manifestación en dónde exigía la liberación de los militares que participaron en la dictadura.En el año 2006 conformó una organización negacionista de los crímenes de la última dictadura militar, mediante ella difundió un peligroso mensaje que borraba todo el trabajo en derechos humanos que se hizo. Pero su ideología no se limita a negar la dictadura, también se autodenomina como una "pro vida" y considera al aborto como un "frío asesinato agravado por el vínculo. Se descubrió que fue a visitar al ex dictador argentino, Jorge Rafael Videla, un criminal que violo los derechos humanos y desapareció, torturo y asesino a 30 mil argentinos. No solo se limito al fascismo argentino, también ha mantenido reuniones con miembros de el Yunque (una organización de extrema derecha mexicana). Es respaldada por sacerdotes lefebvristas, que son una rama ultra conservadora del cristianismo, y que consideran a la homosexualidad pecado, dan misas en latín y ven al papa como un traidor. Pero lo más terrorífico de todo, es que está mujer tiene aspiraciones presidenciales en las elecciones de 2027.

‎Pero Victoria Villaruel no es la única fascista en el país que quiere ser presidenta, también está Patricia Bullrich, actual senadora del congreso, ex ministra de seguridad (en el gobierno de Javier Milei y en el de Mauricio Macri) y ministra de Trabajo en el 2001. Bajo su estancia en el ministerio de seguridad implemento protocolos de represión en manifestaciones, aumento el presupuesto del servicio de inteligencia, dejo hospitalizado a un periodista por culpa de una bomba de gas, por culpa de su protocolo dejo tuerto a un abogado con una bala de goma y negó toda responsabilidad moral y legal ante esta represión brutal. Cómo mencioné fue ministra de trabajo en el año 2001, año en argentina marcado por una BRUTAL crisis económica en dónde: se saqueaban tiendas, los bancos no le daban el dinero a la gente, había toque de queda impuesto por el presidente, no había trabajo prácticamente y estuvo marcado por mucha crisis política (que termino con la renuncia del presidente). Cómo senadora impulso una reforma laboral que aumentaba las horas de trabajo, complicaba las faltas por enfermedad, acortaba las vacaciones y reducía las compensaciónes por despido. Además también impulso una ley que reducía la edad de imputabilidad a 14 años, en vez de buscar políticas integradoras.

Y ¿Saben que es lo peor? Victoria Villaruel y Patricia Bullrich están armando un acuerdo político para ir juntas en las elecciones de 2027
