Changing boots is it possible?

Hello everyone in the community I have come here to ask a humble question. Am I able to change the boots off of my skates? When I was younger I got roller skates for Christmas but that was YEARS ago now I have a bigger foot size and I want to try roller skating again but the boot is to small. I looked up that you can actually change it? If it is possible HOW DO IT???

If anyone one in this subreddit can show me a video or a location to get a bigger size I will be grateful

Thanks!

roller skates or roller blades? (for a beginner)

im gonna buy one of em and not sure which one cuz im a beginner. the roller skates will be slower as compared to rollerblades but rollerblades are way harder to balance as a beginner. should i buy rollerblades (inline skates) or roller skates (quad skates)?

Affordable beginner skate recommendations??

For context i live in the Philippines and am only starting to learn, i also have found one that seems like my current best bet. The rookie artistics which are from the uk brand Rookie, i heard that they gained a bit of popularity back then but got discontinued and only recently got back into producing the artistics. Im also not getting them directly from their store since there isn’t an option to be able to ship over here, so im getting them from an online shop called loco skates (which seem to be trustworthy from videos ive seen)

Im also a teenager so I’ll just be asking my family for my birthday, but that is still a few months away so i still have the time to look into any other possible options. So what i am looking for is any durable artistic skates that can last me about a few years of learning so that I’ll at least be at a point where i have my own money to upgrade.

The budget i got is somewhere around ~10k PHP (equivalent to 162 USD or 121 GBP after I checked conversion rates) and if there is anything you recommend id love to hear the details or if you have anything to say about my current choice 🫶

Edea width black Vs white , any different?

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if the newer models of Edea skates are wider in black than in white ( I have heard traditionally that this is so).

I am a size four (245).

Thanks

Risport dance boots.. Details needed!!

Sooo I’m looking at ordering Risport dance boots and maybe plates online. I know, but currently a trip isn’t in the plans. I’ve experienced a lot of skates and boots and am trying to narrow down what I like.

I currently use Riedell 336 (so comfortable!) and Mistral plates most of the time but would like a dancier boot. Something lower in the back so I can point, have more dexterity, etc. I’ll still keep my freestyle setup.

I’m considering Risport Turchese and maybe Prime. One seems fairly soft and the other much firmer. Why is there no middle ground?
Can anyone make some boot comparisons so I can understand the stiffness ratings?

I just got a lower backed figure skating boot that I’m loving (downgraded from Bronze Star to Jackson Elle) and that’s what set me off to look for a new roller boot.

I got a pair of Risport Venus ice skates to confirm the size. Seemed the easiest because they were available.

I’m a petite adult, I skate regularly but not competitively, I’d like to work on dances and maybe take the tests when I’m traveling. I can do single jumps and basic spins but I have other skates for anything higher.

Can I use ice boots?

I’m really struggling to find second hand artistic rollerskates in my size, but i’ve seen so many ice boots for sale. I know they are structurally different, but is it super noticeable?
