I’ve been thinking a lot about Asgore’s arc, and Chapter 5 was really tough to sit through. It feels like he’s constantly being put in these heartbreaking situations while everyone else moves on.Seeing him struggle so much with his shop and his loneliness, only to face even more hardship by the end of the chapter, was a lot to take. I really hope Toby has a plan to give him some redemption or at least a bit of peace in the next chapters.It also feels a bit strange how some of the other characters react (or don't react) to his situation. He was such a powerful figure in the past, and seeing him like this now is just sad. Does anyone else feel like the story is being a bit too heavy on him lately? I’d love to see him get back some of his old dignity.
