How open does open carry have to be?

I am taking a motorcycle road trip camping through several southern states. I do not have a concealed carry license. I plan on just open carrying.

Let’s say I have my firearm on a belt holster. Just like most cops carry their primary weapon.

Let’s say I have a jacket that covers 1/2 of the firearm. Would I be arrested / hassled for my jacket partially covering it?

What factors contribute to a cop turning dirty?

I'm writing something involving crime and I want to understand what influences in a officers environment lead to corruption of their morals. I'm not trying to promote it with the book, but instead understand how those exact things can dwindle away to steer them back to the right path.

Looking for police opinions on flock cameras

Currently am very anti flock because it feels extremely big brothery and i feel it violates the fourth amendment. Im also very worried that the corporations and state/federal governments will misuse/abuse the data and/or sell it for profit or politically weaponize it.

Id love to hear specifically law enforcement opinions! For or against!
