How open does open carry have to be?

I am taking a motorcycle road trip camping through several southern states. I do not have a concealed carry license. I plan on just open carrying.

Let’s say I have my firearm on a belt holster. Just like most cops carry their primary weapon.

Let’s say I have a jacket that covers 1/2 of the firearm. Would I be arrested / hassled for my jacket partially covering it?

Kind of places to stealth camp

I’m taking a 3 week motorcycle trip from NC to Texas, up to New Mexico, Oklahoma, back to NC. 4400 miles.

Where would be the best kind of places to pop a tent for the night without being hassled?

I’m not asking for specific places but more like “behind churches”

Accidental detox. But glad

I have hip pain. My job is data entry. I’m seeing a chiropractor. I’m also seeing a GP. Neither were helping much. Even touching this shit was a bad idea for me considering my past addiction.

I started taking some 7O to help with pain.. only taking 1/8 th to 1/4 a tab at a time. It did escalate to 1/2 - 3/4 sometimes but I kept reining it in to 1/4 every 6 hrs or so.

I figured even if I had to go cold turkey it wouldn’t be that bad. I had previously been taking Nalexone for alcohol. I stopped taking it when I started the 7O. I plan my meds 4 weeks out. Apparently I missed changing out on one and took a Naloxone. 15 min later I was in full withdrawal. Absolute hell. RLS seems too light a way to describe it. Thrashing would be more appropriate. Sweats. Hot / Cold flashes. Hair standing on end. Dry heaves all of it.

I think it did however speed up the withdrawal. First night hell. No sleep. Second night 3-4 hrs. Today 31 hrs in I feel exhausted but not bad. RLS is not present from what I can tell. No hot / cold. Some hair standing on end. Hell, I went to work today. I’m self employed so I just got all my work done, did a few chores for my wife and now I’m chilling in my easy chair.

I have absolutely no desire to try that shit again.

How much bonus

I own a tackle / boating / beaching / clothing store. We hired a social media director. She makes fun and engaging content. This week she went what I would consider viral with a video about a shark. We are sitting at 2.7 million insights. 20,000 likes and 12,000 shares.

She makes like $100 a week.

I want to give her a bonus. How much do you guys think?

Should I start printing my own?

I own a retail store in a beach tourism area. At least a 1/4 of our business is t-shirts and hats. We do a good business with our own store logo merch. We also sell several other lines like Simply Southern, Salty Crew, Columbia Etc.

We sell around 1500 t shirts a month and 900 hats and such. My wife and I have gotten pretty good at designing our own t-shirts and hats then having them printed by someone else. Our designs are outselling most of the outside brands.

We are contemplating staring our own line to sell beyond OUR store as well as printing our own. Would it be worth it?

It’s always a hassle with our suppliers. They can be quite unreliable.

A few questions. If we decided to start would a manual 8 color, 6 station press OR should we bite the bullet and go automatic?

What margins do you guys work off of? I’m assuming a 40% margin.

How do I get out of conversations politely?

I own a retail store. I work mostly in my office on a computer. It’s not uncommon for random friends, acquaintances etc to come into my office, pull up a chair for a chat. Meanwhile, I have a stack of purchase orders I’m actively working on.

I’m guessing these folks figure I’m the boss so I can just chat leisurely. I can’t chat and concentrate on what I’m doing. Some folks want your attention for I kid you not hours.

Of course some of the chatters are business connections that I must keep (reps, other local business people, etc) a good rapport with.

I personally wouldn’t walk into someone’s office who is obviously busy and expect and hour of their time to chat about non work related things.

Had a guy yesterday just pouring his heart out about his woman problems. He’s a great customer but damn.

How can I get out of these hour long chats in a polite way?

Is Iraq safe for a single American male (50) to travel to?

I really want to come and experience your beautiful country and culture. Our state department is saying I shouldn’t come. My family is scared to death of me going.

I’d like to hear it directly from Iraqis. Is it safe for me to travel to Iraq?
