So long story short the navy recruiter I have knows someone at the job I have currently. I was trying to join over the summer but I had to drop some ponds but made a mental note that if i couldn’t do it by August (I’m a middle school teacher) I was going to stay for the school year as I had already signed the contract in may for the 26-27 year. Closer to the end of the summer, teachers were texting asking me out for drinks etc., admin had a starting having talks we me about how teachers “ that leave in the middle of the year suck” cuz they leave the kiddos in uncertainty territory and I even caught the janitor joking with a kid if they should even put my name back on the door.

I make the cut for the navy now but it’s well in to the year so I was thinking that I’ll just work on my two mile time as much as I can and then start talking to a recruiter in December/January to see what jobs are available if the one I want is there I’m gone lol) but I don’t want that info getting back to my school until I’m ready. Should/can I go to another recruiting place if I have already taken the Picat with one place?

I'm a senior in high school and I want to do dental hygiene in the military should I join the navy or Air Force? Which one would be easier for me to do?

hii I wanna join the military for discipline and to force myself out of my comfort zone.
I used to work a bunch of long hours, first food service and then we are house jobs. I’m 21 now and working from home but I haven’t left my house in 5 months.
Haven’t been outside at all.
My braces band popped still haven’t left.
Missed doctors appointments and all types of stuff.

I guess what I really want to ask is, is the Navy cool for someone like that? also I’m 5’7-5’9 (i have no clue which one) and weigh like 108. maybe less.

Hello, I am currently talking to a recruiter, turning 19 in about a month and will probably enlist in early to late January. I want to know if it is possible to go to the naval academy from an enlisted point, or how to increase my chances if yes. Also I read somewhere that it is possible to delay/transfer my enlistment if I can go to the academy. I’m not sure if any of this is true so all information helps.
