Hello, I am currently talking to a recruiter, turning 19 in about a month and will probably enlist in early to late January. I want to know if it is possible to go to the naval academy from an enlisted point, or how to increase my chances if yes. Also I read somewhere that it is possible to delay/transfer my enlistment if I can go to the academy. I’m not sure if any of this is true so all information helps.
Hello, I recently took the ASVAB and got a 96 and the recruiter told me to look into becoming a nuke. The problem is my high school grades weren’t the best, pretty even split between As Bs and Cs. I got a D in chemistry as a sophomore as well. Will this ruin my chances in getting into the nuclear program. Background I have taken almost every math algebra-calc and got mostly Cs with some Bs and As. I know the content would be manageable in the schooling, I just didn’t really focus in high school.
Hello, I was filling out my dodmerb for ROTC and it says “**Do NOT schedule your appointment before your medical history becomes available.”** How do I know if my medical history is available or not, and do I need to do anything for that?

Currently, I am a college student in AFROTC , but money is tight so I am thinking about enlisting. If I were to enlist i would continue my engineering degree and commission after finishing my degree. I want to be a pilot, doesn’t matter which branch. I wanted to get people’s thoughts on switching from rotc to enlistment, and which branch would allow me the easiest opportunity to pursue college while in the service, and later become an officer, preferably pilot?
I recently graduated high-school this summer and was looking into a career in firefighting. I was wondering if anyone has an input on different pathways to become a firefighter. The first option I looked at was the traditional route of getting certifications and eventually applying to different fire departments. The other one I was looking at was doing firefighting in the military then after serving my 4 years getting out and then applying from there. Any input is helpful thanks.
