Earlier tonight, I started my first ever play through. I couldn’t put the controller down.

Having finished the main story for Shadows, Black Flag Resynced and Mirage, this game has been on my mind for quite a while but I just haven’t had the chance to play.

I picked up the Gold Edition on the PS store for about 85% off (thanks to a redditor who posted about it a week ago).

I started the game and couldn’t put the controller down. I played for 3 and a half hours.

To some, this might not sound like a lot but I’m a Dad with two young kids and a full time job so gaming is low on the priority list right now, having the time to play maybe 10 or 12 hours a week.

But my gosh…the world itself is absolutely breathtaking, the characters are interesting, the story is captivating and the acting is superb.

I’m so incredibly excited to keep playing.

Are there any mentions of Abraham or other biblical figures in origins?

I'm curious if there may be even passing mentions since Sinai is a very prominent part of the Old Testament and many of the alleged events in that time period would have already have happened by the time the game takes palce. I'm aware of the dubious historicity of most of the events in the Old Testament and I'm not coming at this from a religious perspective I just think it'd be cool to have passing mentions or allusions to Abraham or even Moses as Sinai and Egypt in general are both very important in many of the stories in the Bible.

I'm also curious if there are more expressions of Abrahamic faith? I know there's a synagogue in Alexandria but I'm not sure if there are any depictions besides that as most of the game focuses on the Egyptian and Greek pantheons.

Loving the game SO FAR

Honestly this game has been so much better than I expected. Idk if it gives me AC vibes but it definitely is a good open world game. I really like how big the map l looks like and combat is pretty unique. I love how theres so much to do. I also plan to play Odyssey but might not do v alhalla since i heard its just way too LONG.
