Audi A6 S Tronic Problem
Audi A6 C7 3.0 TDI S-tronic – slight jerk when hot
Hi everyone,
I have an Audi A6 C7, 2012, 3.0 TDI 245 hp with the 7-speed S-tronic gearbox.
Recently, especially during these hot summer days, I noticed a slight jerk/knock when the gearbox gets fully warmed up. It happens when I’m coming to a complete stop and the gearbox shifts down into 1st gear.
When the gearbox is cold, everything works normally. The issue only appears after driving for a while, once the gearbox is really hot.
I recently had the gearbox serviced, including an oil change, and SWAG gearbox oil was used. I also performed a gearbox/clutch adaptation about 10 days ago, but the problem is still present.
There are no warning lights or gearbox errors on the dashboard, and apart from this issue, the gearbox shifts normally.
Has anyone experienced something similar with the 7-speed S-tronic? Could this be related to the mechatronics, clutch adaptation, clutch wear, gearbox temperature, or possibly the dual-mass flywheel/mounts?
I would appreciate any advice or experience from people who have had the same issue.
Thanks!
