I honestly feel like it is, the website has a “Help and support” button that doesn’t go anywhere and buttons on the website that are supposed to redirect you don’t work, but i just wanna double check 😭
ALSO: they were asking for a $1.50 “express redelivery fee” ??
As we know, Australia POST is the most ineffective post in the world. But do you know, they tell lie also: when you track your parcel, it is showed already arrived Tasmania. and you think you’ll get it tomorrow, but it was approved by POST, it still at NSW now. Why do they lie???
It’s October 10, and I’m waiting on two separate packages coming from the US to Melbourne.
Package 1: Last USPS tracking update was September 29, apparently still outbound from the USA. Nothing since.
Package 2: Has been showing “Awaiting clearance” on AusPost for approximately 10 days now, with no further movement.
I understand international shipping and customs clearance can take a while, but these tracking gaps seem excessive.
Has anyone else been experiencing similar delays recently, particularly with USPS parcels arriving in Melbourne?
I’m curious whether there’s a current backlog, tracking scans are being missed, or this is just fairly normal for USPS → AusPost.
Should I be concerned yet, or just keep waiting?
I was traveling through Queensland, and sent a parcel to Coen post office. Unfortunately it arrived in Coen just after I had already passed (22 July).
I figured no big deal, gave auspost a call, to request a transfer to another post office in Perth. Usually this is a smooth process, but not this time :D.
So far the package has arrived back in Coen 4 times (I call auspost every time it arrives back at Coen LPO to ask them to get it forwarded to Perth, 45min of my life spent on that every time).
This last round the package actually made it all the way to the airport in Perth, before auspost for some reason decided to send it back to Coen again (facepalm). It looks like it is almost back there again, so I guess I will be calling again soon.
The worst part is that the package contains rusks, that are probably spoilt now and I imagine there will be a few mouse holes by now. Oh well, fun and games.
I know it’s only been two days no update but I literally ordered from the exact same website and the exact same express shipping two weeks prior and it came in two days. Now I’m having absolutely no updates at all? Wth auspost!!!
I live in an highrise apartment building and it is my first time getting a parcel that required a signature. We have a mailroom and usually all the parcels get left there. I only got a mail saying that the delivery will be between 11:15 to 1 so I waited but then the mail just changed to delivery was attempted no one was home?? and it says it was attempted right at 11:15 but I'm pretty sure I didn't even receive the mail until after 11:15. Do they not send a mail or call saying the deliveryperson is at the address 😭
I hadn't selected the leave at a safe place since I would have to download the app for that and I thought I would just be there to collect it but it's not even a case of waiting at the doorstep since I'm on the 30th floor and I can't even see any proof that the intercom was rung on the app.
I bought something from Silverwater a few days ago to be delivered to Western Sydney.
Item made its way to Chullora with a notification "its coming today"
I checked in the evening and it showed the item is now in Victoria with Delivery date revised to few days away.
Can anyone that’s been in a similar situation provide some advice or help please?
I shipped clothes to a clothing manufacturer in China, it was not a sale. However it’s been a few weeks now and has been held by customs.
Unsure what to do now, auspost said it is out of their control and I’ll have to contact customs. I asked the receiver to see if they can do anything about it but they aren’t able to help either.
I didn’t receive any email, text or call from customs.
