ADC vs INBDE

Is there anyone who has experience with both exams? Asking because, I have prepared for INBDE exam last year and now I plan to write ADC. Id like to know if I can prepare for it in 3 months with the background knowledge i have from INBDE.

Which study materials would you recommend?

Are Jigyasa and Bedo still relevant?

I feel the pattern of exam has changed a lot in the past few years and the questions asked have also changed . Do these mainstream academies still have any relevance ?

Need Advice as a Beginner!

Hello everyone!

So I will probably be taking admission into a BDS course this year since I am really interested in this field. Also I am really looking forward to crack the ADC exam in the first attempt.

Anyone with an experince in the process and has also cracked the exam, kindly give me suggestions about how I should look up to the exam and the course and also tackle the difficultues that might arise in the process.

How and what should I be focussing on throughout the course? Is there a need to join same coaching for the exam prep?

Also kindly suggest me some coshing materials that might help me in crackin the exam.

Any good advice from anyone will be really helpful in achieving my dreams and persuing Dentistry in Australia.

Thank You in Advance!

Failed my ADC p2 NEED SERIOUS ADVICE

Hello everyone, for context I gave my p1 and cleared in first attempt in 2023 and then had to unfortunately take a 2 year gap due to personal issues before my first and final attempt of p2. During my preparation I constantly had my hands full with a new born and did my best and got my exam date in period 2 with new changes and preponed was lookin for July. I got my results and I’ve got the worst shock of my life - I did try to manage my preparation without any distractions from December to May (exam was last week of May)
But I’m just truly disheartened and extremely depressed. Financially, physically, emotionally and mentally it has been the most draining aspect of my dental career.
I’m a permanent resident of Australia and I’m just trying to look for pathways to clear this exam and be a practising dentist.
It’s quite difficult to comprehend that I’ll have to give the part 1 again since my part 1 is expiring and I have no chance of sitting part 2 again.

Anyone who has cleared this exam or has any legitimate advices to give me please feel free to give. I’m just lost atp.

Is ADC exam very hard?

Ive given entrance exam of my country and am waiting for the results. Depending on the marks, i will either choose MBBS or BDS. While researching about ADC and AMC in chatgpt and google ai, it said that ADC only has a pass rate of 11% but AMC on the other hand has 50% pass rate. Could any people who passed ADC clarify this and give an insight about the exam?

Enquiring about the need of home setup for part 2 preparation

Hi, im currently trting to sit for march 2027 part 1 exam and i was trying to calculate how much its gonna cost totally for me to get through this exam;

When i habe spoken to people who cleared it, most of them had a home setup for practising and preparing for part 2 exam.

Is ir necessary to have a mannequin and all other stuff to clear part 2 or just enough to join a coaching centre and prctice there and appear for exam?

Also I graduated last year and have been working in a clinic and being underpaid, and im preparing for this exam, it feels like im left behind.

Anyone who havc passed their part 2 or preparing for part 2, please can help me out.

Initial assessment

Hi all,
So I submitted my documents for the initial assessment (paid)
I’m still awaiting a response
I selected the ‘registration only’ category
Although I am an overseas dentist practising in my home country for over 5 years
Should have selected ‘skills assessment’ as I’m also planning to migrate later on
Or can I still appear for exams through this route and then apply for a skills assessment later on for visa purposes.

Thanks in advance
