It doesnt match

This is a 2012 Toyota Camry, and I followed all the steps correctly, from applying the primer to the base coat and clear coat. I also wet-sanded it, but there is still a noticeable color difference. The color code for this car is Toyota 1G3. What should I do next? Please help.

hit and run victim with partial coverage, any suggestions

Any suggestions, i replaced my trunk, and re-straighted my trunks arms so it doesn’t sit on my back windshield. and im about a half inch off from getting my trunk to latch; the same goes for my rear bumper, my clips for it are pushed back up. I can’t afford a new car in a reality, so this is DIY, with access to a winch, a welder, and a few resourceful minds. if anyone has any ideas or suggestions, it would be appreciated. Yeah i know this is a lot to bite off for a non professional, but it’s this or nothing sadly, and with no car, i got no work

Yes i know i need to trim my nails, it’s been a long week it’s slipped my mind.

How bad & costly is this fkup?

need advice/referral recommendations for a hickup

The garage door scraped the tailgate (from outside) so wanna know if we should pay out-of-pocket or claim insurance to fix it

If OOP, can be done for it affordably just for damage spots? Don’t have thousands to pay

Have some paint beginning to peel above the windshield on my Ford Fusion. Would like to see if I can DIY fix it. Did some research and would the process outlined in my post work?

So, was washing my car yesterday and noticed that some of the paint directly above my windshield was starting to peel. Want to nip this in the bud before it gets worse and hoping I could get some help here. I don't need the color match to be perfect. I'd like it to look passable from a few feet away, but mostly want to prevent further damage/peeling. The peel is probably about 3 inches long at this point.

This is what I was thinking:

  1. Tape off area
  2. Clean area with isopropyl alcohol
  3. Use the abrasive tip in Ford's touch up kit to remove any loose pieces on the edges
  4. Follow up with a wet sand at 600 grit
  5. Apply first paint coat (with brush) from Ford's touch up kit. Let dry. Apply second paint coat (with brush).
  6. Apply clear coat from Ford's touch up kit.

Thoughts? Will I need a primer?

Body work advise

2013 Civic EX-L Any advise on how complicated this would be to repair myself? When it comes to working on cars I always prefer to do it myself even if it’s a complicated job for the sake of learning and because I really enjoy cars but this job I’ve been hesitant on trying to tackle cause it’s around the gas cap. Any advice?

Can I fix this with touch up paint?

Recently had my 2016 IS damaged in a hit and run, luckily this was the only damage. Can I fix this with the official Lexus touch up paint?
The 2nd pic was most recent and the 1st pic happened last year but didn't bother me as much until now.

Lexus ES350 taillight and bumper installation issue

Long story short, someone hit my parked car on the side of the street while I was inside, no idea or clue as to who it was so I couldn’t file w/ insurance.

I went the cheap route, bought used OEM tail light and bumper and had a local body man paint/install everything.

Obviously he didn’t do the best job, as evident by this fat ass gap between the tail light and bumper.

My question is, is this due to improper/careless installation? Missing components/clips? Bad parts or improper reframing of the buckled quarter panel?

Obviously he had to have seen that space but decided to not address it for whatever reason.

If I remove the bumper and tail light and reinstall them w/ any missing or damaged clips would that flush the parts together and get rid of that space , or should I consult with another body man to reframe the QP and any part that was bent out of place?

How to fix this dent DIY?

I have a 2010 toyota camry LE. I Backed into a street sign while parking and the sign pushed the metal in, creating a dent. It's on the back quarter panel where it connects to the bumper.

Any advice on how to fix this DIY? Is this out of the scope of what someone with no experience can do? Also, is this something that has to be fixed, or is it just cosmetic?

Deep Crack Starting to Rust

This is slowly getting worse overtime and I’d like to repair myself if possible, not overly concerned with the cosmetics. Any advice on how to fix? Essentially no auto body experience.

Grill Area Repair

I drive a 2023 Kia Forte as my second vehicle. This is my first time driving a sedan, so not so used to things being so close the the ground. On one particularly steep incline entrance to a parking lot, but front left grinded against the bottom of the ground. I’ve attached pictures of the damage and one of the other side so you can see the difference.

What’s going to have to be done to make sure it doesn’t get worse? Expensive? Something I could do with limited knowledge?

How to handle this touch up

Noticed I had some rock chips in the paint on the frame. I’d like to get the rust off and touch it up, but I’m not sure of the best way to handle all these little spots. Any advice?

My girl took off a guys mirror. He's claiming that its 1600 to fix and he mants to get it done at the dealership. This is a shakedown right?

Not experienced with this and maybe I'm wrong and that is what it costs. Ford F150 i think? Newish?

Obviously want to take care of things and do whats right. Just dont want to do anything dumb. Is it smart to have them get it repaired and send over the bill? Figure its best to avoid dealing with insurance over this.

Again, totally ignorant and coming here to get some knowledge before engaging further. I want to know what i am talking about!

Could I Have Done This?

Basically, I’ve drove to the gym this morning, drove back. Once I arrived home I noticed my drivers side wheel arch and onto the front bumper was damaged. I’m paranoid that I caused this damage whilst driving home from the gym seems as though I didn’t notice it earlier on when getting in and out of the car. I’ve consulted my Dad.. and AI.. both say that if I had done that whilst driving I would’ve definitely heard and felt it in the car, especially with it being on the drivers side and I had windows down. Can anyone confirm? The wing mirror is fine (was pushed in overnight and car is left parked on a street, with this drivers side facing the road).

I would also like to ask where it looks like the damage has come from/ what sort of collision? Was it from someone driving toward my car/ or from behind my car? I ask this because I did park my car overnight on the left side of the road and have had a car written off from a car getting to close and colliding with the entire drivers side of my car. However this is only the wheel arch and slightly onto the bumper. I am wondering if it was also in the gym car park? However it was very quiet and when I parked up and left there was not a car either side of me so I’m not sure if that’s the case.

Finally what are my repair options? Will it be fairly cheap? Can I just clean it up a little myself and leave it? Thanks for any help!
