Rate My Feeding Chart

What do you think about my feeding chart?

I was a bit confused about non-organic fertilizers and asked ChatGPT to design me a feeding chart for 3 photoperiods in 20L fabric pots with airdome. It was going well until the AI started to daydream as usual. I trust the EC and pH levels it provides but I need some critical approach to my feeding chart since this is coco and hard to fix later with ways like flushing unlike soil.

I have tons of old bottles from my Biobizz organic light mix soil era and want to use as much as I can before I move to reservoir feeding thus using them in the first month.

Mr. Nice Neville’s Haze in AutoPots, Flower Day 115

Flower Day 115 update on my Mr. Nice Neville’s Haze.

This is my first time running such a long-flowering sativa in an AutoPot system, so I thought I’d share a quick update and some pictures.

Setup:

  • AutoPot system
  • 15 L pots
  • coco/perlite around 70/30
  • SANlight Q5W as top light
  • VIPARSPECTRA P1000 as under-canopy/side lighting
  • pH drifting around 5.6–5.9
  • EC was previously around 1.6–1.7, now I’m backing it down for the late flower stage

She is currently on Flower Day 115 and still seems to need more time. I’m expecting at least another 1–2 weeks, possibly a bit longer depending on trichome development. So this run will probably end somewhere around 130–135 days of flower.

Since this is my first AutoPot run with such a long flowering time, I was especially curious how salt buildup in the medium would develop over such a long cycle. So far, I’m actually quite happy with how it went. I’ve been using a rather defensive EC strategy, and I don’t really see problematic salt buildup in the coco. There are some light salt marks on the surface, but nothing that seems to affect the plant negatively.

At this point, I honestly don’t see a major issue with running very long-flowering sativas for 120+ days in AutoPots, or even around 135 days, as long as you stay cautious with EC and don’t try to push the plants too hard.

The plant still keeps throwing fresh pistils, but the flowers are slowly maturing and getting more resinous. I’m keeping nutrient pressure lower now and just trying to let her finish cleanly.

Would be interested to hear from other AutoPot growers who have run Neville’s Haze or similarly long-flowering sativas. Does this look on track for Day 115?

Cruising along with the 2.2 gal autopots. 100% coco with Cropsalts. Added a little Calimagic this bloom cycle. About 44days into flower. Also using the air domes with bases, pump running same times as my light

Has anyone used their autopots outside?

Is that a dumb notion? I just finished up an indoor run and am in the process of planting my veggies and stuff outside. Was gonna go with only autoflowers this summer weed wise (because I dont need 5lbs of weed of which ill smoke less than an Oz over the year).

Im thinking they'll still work alright despite rains and whatnot so long as I avoid salts and go organic/dry amendments.

Any insight?

Reservoir PH question

Hi guys, this is my first run with autopots. My question is,I ph"ed my reservoir to 5.8 and within a few hours its up to 6.5. I have a recirculating pump that comes on ever 4 hours for a half hour. Im using general hydroponics flora three part. I added ph down to the tank to get it back to 5.8 and again with in a few hours its right back to 6.5. Any suggestions? thanks guys.

Planning to 'digitalize' my Autopots - did anyone else?

Hi,

as title says, I want to control the water flow because I have constant issues with my Aquavalves keeping a constant water level sooner or later at really every grow so far, but still want to continue using the Autopot system as besides the Aquavalves, they are really great.

I want to keep the Aquavalves connected though, they still fulfill their function of preventing a flooding of the tent.

My current plan consists of electrical pinch valves for the tubes, sensors monitoring the waterr levels of the trays and a mini Pi.

The logic should monitor the trays and open an according valve for 2 minutes when the tray has been empty for 1 (or 2?) hours. Then it should close it again and not reopen at least for 4-6 hours to prevent overwatering at any cost.

Setup won't be too expensive and as I am a programmer, coding it should be no issue.

My question is: Did someone else here try something similar?
Any shared experiences would be great.

Is this bad mold/fungi ?

Day 17 flower in 4x4 with 4 2.2 gallon autopots coco/perlite . Seems top stays damp . Curious if this is bad mold or fungi. I’ve recently scraped it off and put a fan oscillating blowing across top of pots now. Should I also shut the system off for 12-18 hours for a dry back?

First timer

First time autopot user. I can’t get my autoflowers to drink. I’m using 100% coco with an inch or two of clay pebbles at the base and I think that’s my issue? Also using the airbase. This is the GeoPot 4 system. Thanks

First autopot grow. Yellow veining

Got some yellow veining on the new growth. Not sure what the cause is. Ph lockout? Chlorophyll just catching up? Or are they just hungry?

Mephisto autoflowers
Day 37 from sprout
70/30 coco/perlite
Using the Lucas formula for coco just micro and bloom + cal mag
Ppm 925
Ph 5.5-5.7
