I've been seeing that the mustard allergy and other types of algae are too fine for sand filters and to pass right through. Which is the problem.

**How often should I be changing the sand in my Hayward filter?** It's a '27 ft above ground, 14.6k gall. Filter is probably a good 10-15 years old. Likey never been changed.

To deal with the algae, I have been shocking once a week with two pounds of Cal hypo the next day I either use a hose siphon or vacuum to waste and pick up all the little brown pools of algae on the floor. Is this the way?

Anyone get an official word on this?

I'm just curious here and maybe I'm missing something....

Why are the R&D (unworked/irregular) seeds $65 for five seeds and the More stable regular offerings are $40 for five seeds (3+2 free).

Even the 5 packs (8 seeds total) sell for $56.

I've done about 6 runs in my vcure. I just looked at the bud report from the official vivo Sun Post where the buds were left in for a full quick and a full craft cycle. This is how I was hoping the machine would work, automatic.

The first three runs overdried my bud and then I realized I needed to calibrate. The last three runs after calibration ( craft cycles ) had to be stopped around days 8 or 9 because I took the buds out and Jarred them up with two hygrometers in each jar and they read 60 RH after 24 hours.

I then put them in Grove bags for long-term cure.

Is this machine just providing the ideal environment and it's up to us to stop it or are people just letting it go for the entire 14 days?

Are these accessible on the site somewhere or do we not have access? Would love to know what's been happening under the hood.

Hi all, just came back from my 1st trip to WDW with my wife and 2 kids (10 & 7). We all had a blast.

The Caribbean beach resort was fine. A tad bit on the grungy side. I'm starting to think that the "Caribbean theme" is just an excuse to not update anything. I wasn't a fan of how spread out everything is in the resort and realized I'm more of an all-in-one place kind of person, like the Riviera. We loved hanging out at the Riviera but damn is it expensive and the room reviews on here seem lackluster.

What other places do you guys like? Around the same $ (or a bit higher) than Caribbean Beach

The website has very different descriptions of these two strains (One sativa leaning in the other indica), despite having the same exact lineage BDxBDxPPD and terpene profiles 🤷‍♂️

I just switched to organic growing from hydro and I'd like to make my first tea. I picked up a bag of castings from home Depot. Can someone please provide a recipe for a 5 gallon bucket? I have six cannabis plants growing in 7 gallon fabric bags. I have a lot of questions 🙄

1. I'm not doing foliar sprays. Any downside to not straining the tea?

2. Can I just use any type of molasses?

3. No go on the air stones? I can just put a drip line tube in the bucket and weigh it down with something I guess.

4. Does it all need to be used right away or can I save some? How long does it last for in the bucket?

Hey all, going to refill my filters pretty soon. Anything I should know about when doing this? I was reading that some people say you need to have some type of vibration plate under the filter while you're filling it so that everything compacts tightly. Otherwise it won't really be that effective. Am I overthinking this? What do you guys do with the old carbon? Just throw it out?
