Neytiri's Expressions. Haha. 🤣
Mo’at is the clan matriarch and spiritual leader (Tsahìk), and Neytiri is her fierce, warrior daughter who later becomes the fierce protector of the Omatikaya people alongside Jake Sully.
Thought that I would take the time to post some of the settings before I capture the image. The sets are as close to minimal to single point focus for extreme shallow depth the field, low angles, focus thrown more towards Ikran wing tips and not head or body, higher contrast to increase shadows and highlights, you can lower saturation to offset contrast re-colorization or bloom effect. Navigating with UI hidden locks effects into place such as focus so you can navigate the scene without losing your focus location.
To reset bring back UI and it will re-focus.
I personally find the best sweet spot for shallow depth of field without breaking immersion is a four to 6 based on setting.
I look forward to seeing your creations and your adventures!
I see you Sarentus!

When you’re minding your own business, you can count on this guy to slap you in the head with an undeserved wet glob.

So glad they brought Ikeyni back! 💙
It’s the instant softening of her expression for me. Hearing his true thoughts completely breaks her composure.

Zoe Saldana discuss her role as Neytiri in James Cameron's film, Avatar (2009).
If you aren't using the photo mode in Avatar, you're missing out.
During an interview on the Empire Film Podcast, James Cameron explained exactly why he wants to shift his approach for the next two sequels.
Check out what James Cameron said:
>You know, I’ll be doing some writing. I’ve got a number of projects that I’m cooking. And ‘Avatar 4’ and ‘5’ are still floating out there.
>We’re going to be looking at some new technologies to try to do them more efficiently. Because they’re hideously expensive and take a long time. I want to do them in half the time for two-thirds of the cost. That’s my metric. And so, it’s going to take us a year or so to figure out how to do that.
By saying they are "still floating out there," he admits that Disney hasn't given them the final, unconditional go-ahead until the math makes sense.
It is so disappointing to read this news. The Avatar franchise (only 3 movies) has made more money than any other series in movie history. Even though the latest film didn't meet their massive expectations, it still made a huge $1.5 billion. It's frustrating that they are already trying to cut costs just to protect their profits.
Neytiri. After everything she has been through, a genuine moment of peace and joy for her is so deeply deserved.
