Bit durg mein admission lene se dar/depression lag raha hai. But i don't have any option. Any positives about this college? Joining mechanical btw

So, I gotta choose a college through CGPET , what to pick SSTC Bhilai , BIT Durg or SSIMPT Raipur..

Also, i've heard about the bad evaluation thing going on ...one of my friend's said SSTC Bhilai is not CSVTU affiliated (checking yahan nai hoti), is that true ?

Hii seniors, I was a dropper and i would certainly not like to describe the tragedies that happened due to which i'm coming here ... So i really am wanting you guys's guidance ....

Since i've already asked my only friend at BIT Durg about the college .. She told me about the fuss happening in marks checking due to CSVTU's beautiful checking .

Is the grading absolute or relative , I wanna ask the seniors who took CSE.. how are you guys's CGPA? Do you manage to get above 7.5 or 8 ?

Is BIT durg better or BIT raipur ?

Currently, I'm not able to think of more questions but please share all the information you have and tips to improve CGPA, grades, skills and all.

I've been checking this subreddit for the last few days, and I've come across quite a few posts about backs, strict attendance, and people saying there's barely any college life at BIT. It's making me rethink whether it's still the best option.

Compared to colleges like SSTC , is BIT still worth choosing? Or has the difference between them become much smaller now?

Messed up jee ,not allowed to take drop , Got 18X rank in cgpet , please tell me about hostel ,mess food quality, fees , free time (leaves so that i can focus on my skill )

I dont care about classes but tell me how peacefull enviroment is there or there are cases of ( bullying, ragging ,fights ...) . how good is peer .

Cuz most of people are saying bit durg is good in central india after NITs and alumni network is good

Other reviews are outdated and incomplete

I can upskill myself on my own and try offcampus later , dont care about placements ( yet) ,planning to prepare for GATE and other exams later

So tell me is it worth taking CSE in BIT Durg

And suddenly abhi sab SSTC prefer kr rhe h 🥀

See that's a result of a person who studied for 6hrs for semester exams , and this is how csvtu treated them .

Also whoever doesn't know , sstc isn't affiliated with csvtu anymore instead it's a self financed university which comes under sspu ( can check cgte counselling choice filling , by applying filters )

I know it's a silly question to ask right now but amid all the counselling tension I just thought to give us students something to laugh about...so are saturdays off or alternate saturdays.?..also hostel timings if we have to leave campus!! Thanks for the help!!

So I was confused whether to take bit durg, rungta, shankara or any other colleges.

i scored 71 marks and 1757 rank. can i get any cse related branch cse(ai)/cse(ds)/cst or it?

I'm participating in CGPET 2026 counselling, and I'm facing a confusing issue.

I was expecting to see Government Engineering College (GEC) Bilaspur and Government Engineering College (GEC) Raipur in the college choice list, but they are not appearing at all. Only GEC ambikapur is present

I want to know:

1. Why are GEC Bilaspur and GEC Raipur not showing in my choice list?

2. Is this because of my rank, eligibility, seat matrix, or some other reason?

3. Is anyone else facing the same issue?

If anyone has experienced this before or knows the reason, please help. I don't want to miss any college because of a technical or counselling issue.
